I desperately wanted to give up smoking & Daniel was recommended to me by a friend. I had stopped smoking before for fifteen years after a hypnotherapy session with someone else but for some reason had started again. I was quite worried that it wouldn't work for me a second time....but it has. Daniel was really easy to talk to & incredibly knowledgeable about the work he does, I had a real sense that he wanted the session to work for me as much as I did.
I have tried numerous times to give up smoking always feeling miserable and tearful and although not wishing to smoke found it preferable to not smoking. I visited Daniel thinking it was worth a try although sceptical as to whether it would work - but hey what did I have to lose! I have smoked for over 40 years and I can truly say that since I had my last cigarette over a week ago I have not missed them or really thought about smoking. It is really odd and I am quite surprised that I have not experienced any mood swings or anxiety. It is almost like I never smoked - I have had glasses of wine, been out for dinner twice and not once have I craved a cigarette! Amazing.
I used to smoke between 30 - 40 cigarettes per day until I had a home visit from Daniel. I asked for a home visit because I am unable to walk very far due to a crumbling spine. I am waiting for an operation and realized that I had to stop smoking to give myself a fighting chance on recovery. I think this was the spur I needed to do something I should have done years ago but I would not have managed it without Daniel's help. I am not stupid enough to think that keeping a non smoker is going to be easy but Daniel has said that he is available should I need a helping hand - he might regret that.

James has done fantastic work with my daughter (aged 7). She was having trouble dealing with her emotions and temper and this often came out in very prolonged tantrums that left her physically and emotionally drained. We tried numerous techniques from books and advice from friends but it was getting worse not better. I was at my wits end. James had 3 sessions with Ella. 1 per week. I noticed a difference in her behaviour after the first session. She didn’t immediately start screaming when she didn’t get her own way and she took more time to actually listen to the reasons behind why she couldn’t have it her own way. She obviously wasn’t a changed person, she will always be passionate and fiery and we never want to change that. We just wanted to help her develop skills so that she could see how to express herself in a positive way and make herself heard rather than just by having tantrums. James used games and talking methods to help Ella visualise the consequences of her actions and to help her see more constructive ways of expressing her displeasure. He was always very kind, friendly and patient and even helped me see how to change my behaviour to help my daughter. I would highly recommend James. He is very professional and has made a really positive change within our family
