I honestly cannot fault this restaurant. The food is excellent, the staff are lovely and what I like about it is that the waiting staff leave you alone to get on with your meal rather than keep coming over checking on you and asking if everything is okay, they only really come over to the table if you signal to them.

Excellent food. Great takeaway. Will most certainly return. Highly recommended. Only observation is that there is too much ghee used (i.e. in the Aloo Gobi) - I had to use tissue to soak up excess.

Love the Sunday buffet! Could eat just the starters, but everything is really tasty, one of my favourites is the vegetarian curry and also the lamb dish is so tender. Staff know us and always laugh at my husband's jokes even they're not that funny.

My wife booked a table here to celebrate my birthday whilst we were staying in Waltham abbey . It was quite possibly one of the best Indian meals I've ever had.We had light, crispy poppadoms with a tray of dips to munch on before we ordered lamb samosas and the kebab platter to start. Everything was delicious and fresh. This was followed by chicken jalfrezi and haryali chicken tikka for mains. All the dishes were super tasty and had just the right level of spice. Nothing was greasy and everything was well proportioned. The staff were really attentive and couldn't have done enough for us. As a birthday treat they also brought out some ice cream and a complimentary shot to wash it down with! The experience was extra special when we saw our favourite bottle of wine on the drinks menu! I'd definitely call this a hidden gem and would recommend it to anyone! It's quite small, so if you're planning on going I'd recommend booking beforehand. It was a very popular, busy place where you can dine in or order it to take away.

We enjoyed a family celebration for my sons 17th birthday! The service was outstanding, couldn’t have done enough for us. Food was superb and the staff are extremely friendly. Can’t wait to return. Vegetarian options: Great selection.

Shuhag is a small and well looked after indian. We travel here from cambridge to visit their sunday buffet. Quality food. Quality service. Quality all price.

A very warm welcome from all the staff from the minute you step through the front door. Very nice food cooked to perfection with there own touches.very contemporary restaurant. I will give this place 10 outer 10 keep up the good worrk ur in your own legue.

Always good service. Food is great value and good sized portions. We have been several times and are always welcomed warmly.

Great food. Thursday special is an absolute bargain. Staff efficient although could be a little more friendly did sometimes feel like we were putting them out when serving us.
