Monument Sculpture War Memorial Attractive Structure Historical Statue and Town Centre

Crewe War Memorial consists of a Britannia bronze figure standing on a square pedestal. The Memorial was constructed to memorialise those who died in World War I and II. Initially, the sculpture was placed in Market Square and was moved to Municipal Square in November 2006. The memorial is designated as a Grade II listed building in the National Heritage List for England. The figure stands approximately 2.7 meters high, while the pedestal measures about 3.3 meters. The foundations for the memorial were laid in September 1924. The construction of the Crewe War Memorial uses high-quality materials and craftsmanship. The sculpture is well worth a few minutes of your time if you are in Crewe's town centre.
