They are part of the world-renowned Checkmat affiliation and are headed by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, Daniel Havelock. I can highly recommend this Martial Arts Academy. The teachers are amazing, very friendly and so nice to the kids. Especially Sensei Ellen during Little Ninja classes is so patient and lovely. My daughter loves her kickboxing class and always cannot wait to go there again. Thank you.

We see these guys at National Training sessions and competitions throughout the year. Always very friendly and helpful. We've become good friends with a few members of the club and despite competing against them! A great example for the sport. Jase.

North Coast Bjj is a absolutely brilliant place to train with friendly and safe environment. The door is open to everyone, perfect for beginners and experienced alike. People are fantastic and always welcomed . Daniel is experienced and has a great way of teaching.

Great club, great members who are very welcoming and create a brilliant atmosphere to train in. The coaching is very detailed and the level of support is fantastic.

I am a complete beginner and went along to my first class on Tuesday, such a nice group of folk who are all really welcoming, Daniel is full of enthusiasm and you can tell he really enjoys teaching the class. I highly recommend anyone to go along and give it a go.
