“Loughborough Studios welcomes everyone aged 6 and upwards, from beginner to advanced. Students can learn for fun or prepare for graded exams with a recognised awarding body. Lessons are held weekly in their fully equipped practice rooms. Students are also welcome to attend their group workshops at the studio. They offer piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, and vocals (Singing) classes. The tutors also train students for grade exams, following the ABRSM syllabus.

2025 Update: Their Band Jam workshops are fun sessions for their students to get to know fellow musicians whilst learning how to both play a song and perform it as a group.”

I don't know why a music school is voted down. I am pretty sure that those guys put huge efforts for this school to exists. I am giving 5 stars just for this. I hope my kid will be there in some day.

Great music school - our kids have had fantastic musical opportunities there.

Lovely studios to learn how to drum. Neil is very kind and encouraging. He guides you through everything and makes you learn a lot with a variety of exercises, you can clearly see he is very professional.

Daughter loves it here so much she now does piano, guitar & drums! The instructors John & Neil are very knowledgeable, calm and patient. They make it an enjoyable experience.

I go here for drum lessons and guitar lessons. Everyone there is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend people who are trying to learn an instrument to go here!

My son has been learning both guitar and drums at this school, and we are very pleased with the experience. The teachers are responsible, professional, and truly care about the students' progress. They are patient and supportive, and my son always looks forward to his lessons. We've seen great improvement in his skills and confidence. Highly recommended for any parent looking for quality music education for their child!

Honestly could not recommend more! The entire team has been lovely throughout with great communication and flexibility when needed. My daughter voiced and interest in drum lessons, I emailed Tom and within two weeks she had a free trial lesson and now does lessons every 2 weeks with Dexter which she very much looks forward to. An amazing group of people who are very knowledgeable and happy to help with even the silliest of questions! Thank you so much to everyone at EMDT.

My 7 yr old grandson is having drumming lessons & thoroughly enjoying them. His tutor Dexter is very friendly & has just the right approach for my grandson’s age. I highly recommend East Midlands Drum tuition.
