I just wanted to give a shout out to everyone at the VSOM during these hard times hit by the pandemic atm. My LO joined VOSM a few years back. The whole team are lovely, Lucy with her infectious smile and the lovely Sarah who teaches my son ukulele. We are on zoom lessons for the moment, which my son is loving! and really enjoying being back again and taught by Sarah who he gets on great with!, she is very patient and just an all round lovely person. Everyone at the music school are all doing a great job. Highly recommend

VSOM is great. I enjoyed the keyboard classes and have been having Zoom lessons over the past months. As a child I always wanted to learn the piano but it wasn’t until I retired that I eventually got round to it. I would recommend VSOM to any adults who want to learn - it’s never too late. The staff and teachers are pleasant and friendly too.

Fabulous music school. Jamie and Lucy are so accommodating and they have the best music tutors there is. Highly recommended. My daughter is learning piano at just 7 and her tutor is so patient and lovely at teaching her the notes. She is really enjoying it. Highly recommended from us.

Having moved to Glasgow just a few months ago from outside the UK, we weren't sure where my daughter could continue her flute lessons. The Glasgow School of Music offered precisely what we were looking for: one-on-one tuition, flexible hours, easy to reach by public transport (it's just a short walk away from Kinning Park subway station!), great teachers! My daughter's teacher is passionate, wonderfully kind and flexible towards her learning needs, while offering well-suited challenges to further improve her skills within a professional learning environment. My daughter feels very comfortable and enjoys learning in the School. I can see how the teacher's passion for music is being kindled in her as well. I'm looking forward to see my daughter's flute skills grow with the School in the coming years!

I have had an excellent experience at the Glasgow School of Music. My flute teacher, Gabriela, is a simply wonderful teacher. I never dreamed that I would make the progress that I have thanks to her lessons! She is very knowledgeable and experienced not only in flute and music theory, but also in teaching and learning methods. She always adapts the lessons and her teaching to my particular needs as a flute learner. I am very happy to have found the Glasgow School of Music.

My son, Dylan, has been going there for close to a year, for singing lessons. Brilliant set up, communications and teaching talent.

My son started bass 6 years ago and I said to Finn, his teacher, I don’t care about grades, I just want him to like music. He’s now doing Grade 7 bass, has applied to study music at uni and has become inspired to take music as a career. First Chord are amazing and inspiring teachers who bestow their students with enthusiasm and confidence. They are also pretty cool.
