He is a British professional freelance session/touring drummer and teacher from Holyhead in North Wales. Spike offers drum masterclasses for Music Institutes and Schools. He has played with The Damned, Killing Joke, Morrissey, Sacrilege, and New York Dolls, among others. Spike T Smith Drum Tuition has a state-of-the-art teaching environment for complete beginners and professional players of all ages. Their Studio 1 is a lesson and practice studio set up with two drum kits for side-by-side lessons. Their Studio 2 is a practice studio with an electric drum set. My son has been having drumming lessons with Spike for 4 months now and loves it. He tells me Spike is an amazing drummer and teacher. The music studio is a great set up with two drum kits so Spike can demonstrate and play along. We've seen our sons drumming skills and confidence grow immensely since drumming with Spike. He's even joined a band at school, something he would not have considered before. Spike has also been great at catering for my son being left handed. I would definitely recommend Spike to anyone who wants drumming lessons.

Really enjoying my lessons with Spike, he’s very patient and very passionate about drumming. After only a few weeks I’ve come on along way. Would highly recommend him if you’re looking to take up drums or expand on your current abilities.

Fun, friendly tuition that’s brought my daughter on leaps and bounds. Fantastic teacher and his lessons are the highlight of my daughters week! Highly recommend.

Rising stars are amazing my daughter has been going now for 7 years and she loves it it’s a big part of her life and her confidence since she has been going has grown more and more each year she has been there. It’s like a little family no matter what she has going on at school or at home she always has her rising stars family and some times I think Sunday’s are her escape from it all her little family it keeps her going they all have a great bond and Vicky is always there for them. They have fun while they learn her dream is to be on stage when she is older. Which I Wallis of never thought was possible but she has come out in her self so much. As a parent I couldn’t want anything more.

My daughter has been attending Rising Stars for a couple of years now and she has been part of 2 performances. Her confidence in her own ability has grown massively and she loves her weekly classes. Vicky is really fantastic with the young people and the prices are really good value for money. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Peterborough music school to anyone! The lessons here are very fun and highly interactive. Each lesson we learn new songs and new skills which help us to progress onto new challenging pieces some of which can be played as a whole class together. My favourite time of the week is being at Peterborough music school, it is a welcoming environment with amazing tutors!!!!

My son has been having lessons with Callum for eight years. He is a kind and patient teacher, and the lessons are a good mix of theory and practical, as well as fun! My son enjoys his lessons and is progressing so well. We would recommend Ampy Music without hesitation.

Callum and Rhuben teach both of our sons and have guided them to pass their exams with merit and distinction. They are friendly and know how to get the best from the boys.
