“Stanley Park is a public park in Blackpool on the Fylde coast in Lancashire. This park is the town's primary park and covers an area of approximately 104 hectares. The park was designed and built in the 1920s under the guidance of Thomas Mawson. This is Blackpool's premier green attraction, listed as a Grade II facility on the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens and situated within a designated town conservation area. The park's extensive gardens feature a fountain of Italian marble and several statues, including a pair of Medici Lions. The park has an indoor sports centre, golf course, cricket ground, skate park, tennis courts, a timber adventure playground, and a bandstand. The visitor centre contains displays about the park, information leaflets, and guides on Blackpool and its green spaces. Stanley Park features landscape design, historical buildings, stunning gardens, and a range of fun activities. A free car park is available at the end of the West Park Drive entrance.”
