GROSVENOR PARK REVIEWS

Beautiful gardens for a great walk! We really enjoyed our time here and got to feed some of the birds as well! All the plants and gardens seem well looked after and it's a really nice quiet get away from the main city centre. Really peaceful walks and great views as well as a children's play area and mini railway. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the city There are also public toilets here that seem to always be open which is always a bonus!

Best park ever. Great for biking due to the terrain that it showcases. Tons of hills and climbs, but also tons of hills to drive down, which go into bends as well. Granted, you need to be careful or else you can slide a bit, but overall, my favourite park. Also the scenery is amazing, and is well maintained. It also gives access to the River Dee as well, which is also quite good.

Love this park, it is beautiful and well used. It is pretty and very clean with no litter around. People take pride in this park and it shows. There is a little cafe where you can get drinks and snacks. We visit every time we visit Chester and like to feed the squirrels.

Fantastic! Fill your lungs with fresh, open air & feast your eyes on nothing but Autumn colours, nice tarmac pathway so easy for pushchairs, wheelchairs, scooters and bikes. I take my grandchildren regularly to visit the newly created Nature Trail which is where they believe the Gruffalo lives, well done to the rangers for keeping it in such a great order.

This is a very tranquil and scenic place to visit. Over the last few years the local volunteers have really been improving it with nature walks, benches and community events. I've taken hundreds of photos down here over the years to try to capture its beauty. At the far end of the park it is possible to cross over the canal to what used to be Mollington Golf Course. Overall, a visit makes for an hour or two well spent enjoying the peace and quiet...if you can find your way past the "I like your dog...do you like my dog" people.

A lovely place to walk with the family or with your dog. This is not on a route regularly used by adult lycra-wearing cyclists, (you get a few commuters) so it's safer for children to scooter or practise on small bikes. There are extensive tarmacked paths, so perfect for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

Great playground with water splash area on the river. Picnic tables and benches. Plenty of areas for sun and shade. Good clean toilets. Clever duck feed dispensing machine to feed ducks. Well worth a visit.

Open 11-5 weather permitting! Great park for junior aged children and adjoining park for toddlers. All areas are enclosed but park areas and water park all merge within the boundaries. Water park great for all from toddlers to upper end of juniors. Free fun and toilet facilities available too. Occasional ice-cream van outside!

Fantastic day out with the little ones ona s hot day, my 1 year old had such a great time, it gets busy on weends If Really Warm but it's still excellent. Public toilets there, a play ground and an ice cream van that parks right outside on busy days.
