Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The bar staff in particular were very accommodating, making us cocktails that weren't necessarily on the menu. We will definitely consider staying again during our many trips to Chester. However one of the reasons we chose this place was the swimming pool but unfortunately we were unable to use the pool because it was "at capacity" and they were operating a "one out/one in system" meaning we would have had to sit in the waiting area for someone to leave before we were allowed in. Nevertheless, we had a lovely time

A lovely hotel. Greeted by an absolute gentleman who explained the parking situation, then later showed us to the pool / spa. The room was slightly warm for me but that is the only fault. Clean, huge bed, a decent breakfast, excellent location and special mention to the aforementioned member of staff who was so helpful (possibly the manager) and to the fella from Liverpool who without exception gave every single guest a warm, friendly and jovial welcome to the restaurant...a guy who took real pleasure in his job and is a credit to the hotel.

Lovely hotel immaculately clean. Breakfast was great fresh hot food and plenty of choice. Swimming pool went down very well with our granddaughter. Maps sent us an awkward way for the car park. Car park secure. Would most definitely return.

DOUBLETREE BY HILTON HOTEL & SPA CHESTER REVIEWS

A very clean and well-kept hotel. The rooms were comfortable and well stocked with the essentials. The only qualms were that the shower drain was a little clogged leading to slow drainage. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a little on the expensive side, but the food was tasty and of sufficient quantity.

We stayed here for two nights and we had the best time. We got the spa package which included massages, use of the pool and an inclusive 3 course dinner. It was all 10/10. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The rooms were amazing as well as the spa and pool. everything about it was amazing! Do hope to come again!!

Brilliant hotel and enjoyed our three night stay here. Gym was excellent and the food and service were second to none. Ate dinner in the restaurant every night, that’s how good it was. The weather was good so we enjoyed drinks on the terrace as well.

CROWNE PLAZA CHESTER REVIEWS

We came for the races and this is the perfect place to stay. The location is great, from the minute we checked in to check out we had a great time. All staff were friendly and helpful particularly Chris on reception. We made a special food request and this was adhered to. All areas were clean and tidy. Food was delicious.

This is a very nice hotel inside. The outside looks like a multistory car park and the entrance to the hotel at street level isn't very nice, its in quite a seedy looking backstreet. Some of the bedrooms, bar and breakfast area have nice views of welsh hills in the distance. The price per night varied a lot through different companies and it was cheaper to book on the night rather than in advance. I always thought booking in advance would give you the best price. Great breakfast, lots to chose from fruit, cereals, yoghurt, pastries and a whole host of cooked items. There is a small pool and jacuzi with steam and sauna rooms. There is a small car park which you have to pay extra for.

Great check in by Gabi. Room large enough and clean. All staff very helpful especially breakfast staff and tbe breakfast itself was brilliant. Leisure facilities were great and bar service was good. Wouldnt hesitate to go back.
