“People’s Park is a great place to visit and is a late 19th-century park in the centre of Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. The park has recently undergone a renovation programme. The park has a double avenue, a lake, a fountain, and a floral hall. The park is bordered by a shin-high wooden railing, allowing easy pedestrian access and clear sight lines. The park includes over 50 parks and open areas, ranging from small grassy play spaces to a country park spanning over 150 acres. People’s Park has outdoor fitness equipment and event conducting areas. The park also has two bowling greens and a croquet lawn along with a cafe, Coffee on the Park, serving hot and cold drinks, cakes and light snacks. People’s Park hosts various music and family events during the summer months.”
