“People’s Park has a double avenue, a lake, a fountain, and a floral hall. The park has recently undergone a recreational activities. The park is bordered by a shin-high wooden railing, allowing easy access and clear sight lines. The park includes over 50 parks and open areas, ranging from small grassy play spaces to a country park spanning over 120 acres. People’s Park has outdoor fitness equipment and event conducting areas. The park also has two bowling greens and a croquet lawn along with a cafe, coffee in the park, and hot and cold drinks, cakes, and light snacks. PEOPLE’S PARK REVIEWS

This is a beautiful park right in the centre of a residential area. There is ample parking around the park. Great for dog walkers, joggers, sitting, strolling. There is a dedicated play area for the kids here too. Public conveniences are in the centre, by the lake open from 8 til 8 in the evening. The lake has a couple of resident swans and ducks. There is an old bandstand here too that does get used from time to time for events There is a bowls club here too with a fantastic bowls green. Well worth a visit anytime of the year.

Lovely park that I’ve been going to on and off all my life. I now visit Grimsby only occasionally but it’s a great place to take my children. It’s well maintained and cared for these days, and has a little cafe too. Although these days not technically part of the park, the Floral Hall is worth a visit. It closed a few years ago which was a real shame. Good to see it back.

Big area, well kept. Gives a spacious feel even when busy. Lots to do/see; good sized play area with various apparatus for kids. Cafe and toilets if needed. Haven't often visited, but been there a couple of times recently and always enjoy the walk and greenery.

Lovely park, great open space. Park was enclosed so lovely and safe for kids. Loads of space to run around in. Great little cafe selling drinks and ice cream. There are also toilets which are free to use, very handy for the kids! A great little find and will be returning again soon Playground: Loads for kids to do and enclosed so it's safe Restrooms: Clean and free to use Picnic area: Loads of space to have a picnic, even some picnic tables available but honestly we enjoyed sitting on the grass.

Absolutely impressed! Lovely walking areas, dog friendly. Big children playing area. Very cleaned. There was also a Cafe but did not go this time. There were a few people in the picnic area enjoying togetherness and sun...Would have loved to have this near my house! I only took one puc near to the blue tree. A gentleman said was in honour of mental health.

Large park with open grassy areas, trees, playground, cafe (very good) and woodland walks at the back. Busy at weekends but one of the best places for the dog or kids to let off steam! Lots of benches, picnic tables and bins and all very well maintained.

SIDNEY PARK REVIEWS

Sidney Park is a lovely Park, it winds and has pockets of varied areas. It has a lovely Victorian Pond that houses all manner of birds and ducks and has a bridge which divides the level of water one side is a paddling pool, then the deeper level.On occasions small motor boats are displayed and raced on the water. It has Play areas for exercise and outdoor sports. A local football team have a hut and use the Park for their games. It has a Tea room called the Pit Stop serving hot and cold refreshments and snacks. The local residents tend the Park with litter pick days and have designed flower beds in large lorry and tractor tyres. Well worth a visit.

We use this park mainly for dogs. There is a fenced doggie area measuring some 100 yards in length, some trees and undergrowth. Obvious path through longish grass. The rest of the park is grassed with trees and undergrowth. There is a pond on which swans can be seen, basketball courts and child play area.

Lovely park with duck pond a fenced off area for dogs to roam free and a brilliant cafe open in the afternoon for all the kids, nice and enjoyable.
