“Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Park have gorgeous sprawling woodland, nature areas, and recreational facilities. This park is home to the Cutteslowe Park Miniature Railway, where kids and adults can ride the miniature trains. The park offers an opportunity for the entire local community, male or female, young or old, to come together regularly to enjoy the park and get physically active. There are two beach volleyball courts located in Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Park. The kiosk operates the tennis courts and mini-golf, opposite and opposite to the café. The park has a unique San Remo café and attracts visitors yearly. Additionally, there are a variety of different sports fields available at Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Park.

2025 Update: Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Park is open all day and has various Activities for families and friends. Parking and toilets are available in the park.”

SOUTH PARK REVIEWS

A park with great open space view onto the city centre of Oxford as you can see the top of the Carfax, the Christ Church and some Universities. Games available =2/3 that of Bury Knowle park (one stand basketball playground, some games for kids, no tennis no golfer) and the running ring is incomplete at the downhills side. If by car then you can either park at the Warneford lane side or at the Brookes Uni side. Five stars for its unique view at the city centre which makes it an attraction for photographers and those who like to meditate.

Absolutely breath taking, the view is one of a kind and its a lovely walk around. Brenches are placed periodically down the slope and there is one that is right in the middle where you can get the perfect view. Little parks about in it as well as table tennis! There is sometimes a ice cream van right outside the gates and there is a gin distillery next to it with an entrance through the park where you can go as well.

Open green space with lovely picnic spaces, tracks and views. Park has nice hilly view surrounded by trees and open space. Play area for kids. There are restaurants and cafe nearby. Parking is available just outside the park. Sunday is free parking. This is a great park for summers or winters. Dog walking area.

FLORENCE PARK REVIEWS

My recent visit to Florence Park was a delightful experience. The park had a wonderful playground for kids, with various equipment that kept my children entertained for hours. The nearby cafe was a great spot to grab a snack and relax, while the availability of restrooms was a huge plus. I also appreciated the option to play tennis, as it added some variety to our visit. Overall, Florence Park is a fantastic place to spend time with family and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend it!

I've had many lovely times at this park. Hanging out with my friends and house mates, chilling in the sun, having parties, doing slack line, playing with friends kids on the great playground, cycling around, and making the most of the cafe. Great resource for a lovely area of Oxford.

Lovely park in Oxford, has everything, including a table tennis table and lots of play equipment. What I love about it most though is its location. The surroundings are beautiful and definitely recommend visiting the river lock nearby.

CUTTESLOWE AND SUNNYMEAD PARK REVIEWS

A beautiful place for families. There's a large field, a mini train that runs on Sundays, a large play area, a smaller sandpit play area, a cafe, mini golf (which is a little expensive considering the quality of the equipment provided) and a splash park (which unfortunately wasn't working the second time we went die to a broken pipe) There is a large car park available which isn't too expensive but it does fill up quickly. It's a lovely place to take the kids for a family fun day out

An amazing park with loads to do. In summer on a Sunday there's a mini train ride. Other than that it is free tennis courts, basketball, adventure playground, normal playground and wet pools. Lots of space to bring a ball or frisbee for free play. A gym, a cafe and in summer an ice cream van. Easy to use with a wheelchair in summer and keep to paths in wet weather.

The kids really enjoyed this park as part of our short trip to Oxford. The adventure playground had a nice selection and was fairly clean and maintained. Lots of trees and a duck pond for a pleasant stroll. Only downside was that the ringo app does not allow for your parking stay to be extended. So if you choose 1hour, thats it or a parking ticket.
