SOUTH PARK REVIEWS
A very pleasant place close yet a sanctuary from the hustle of Oxford. A large area of open parkland offering fitness stations at regular intervals about the perimeter path. Open space for games plus good views of Oxford with a few park benches to relax on.
Beautiful park. Wonderful for a picnic. Quiet. Not as busy as university parks. This is the Oxford equivalent to Edinburgh's Calton Hill. Marvellous view of the entire city from the height of the Headington Hill. I had heard from everyone about how beautiful South Park is. Now that I have finally visited it, I can say that it is not overrated.
Really lovely park. Play area for younger kids. Beautiful horizon and city skyline. Great for picnics and general walking and running.

Absolutely a nice park to spend some quality time on. I will say one of the best in Oxford. Lots of greenery, walkways and play area. Definitely recommend.
A beautifully kept park with something for everyone! Tennis, play parks and plenty of open space! It does shut at sundown so don’t be caught out… check signs at the entrances for exact times.
Nice park during daytime for chilling and relaxing, some great facilities as well for children to play on and wide open spaces.
