“Christchurch Meadows features a children's play area with a paddling/boating pool, picnic tables, and several sports pitches. The park is covered with a grass meadow along the river's edge, with shrubs and specimen trees along the bank. A Speciality line of Lombardy poplars edges the boundary of the east. The metalled cycleway along the bank has streetlights to aid visibility in the evening. The park continues to improve its facilities to welcome visitors while maintaining high standards of customer care and visitor enjoyment.”

BEALE WILDLIFE PARK REVIEWS

Great day out on a very warm sunny day in this laid back park. Staff were very friendly and helpful, it was a special promotion day and was very busy. Parking was free, entrance was quick despite the high attendance. The park is big with a giant bouncing pillow, large well maintained paddling pool, plenty of play parks, a great mini train ride at no extra cost and a variety of animals dotted around well maintained and interesting grounds. Clean and well maintained toilet facilities, although the restaurant is closed for refurbishment, there was a fast food and coffee/ drinks facility near the paddling pool, with ample picnic tables and shady nooks all over the park.

Had an amazing time at Beale Wildlife Park. The animals are well kept and have spacious enclosures. The playgrounds are amazing for kids and also the train ride, which is included in your ticket price. You can pay for extra rides for the train at the ticket office. Definitely would go back again and can't wait.

How I haven't visited before I don't know. We go to lots of wildlife parks in the area and this has turned into one of our favourites. Two adults and plenty to see and do, the animals were mainly out, very lucky that one of the Lynx doesn't seem too bothered by people, amazing gardens and a great full day.

Had gone for litter picking, and the park was as clean as it got. Loved the open areas down deep into the park. Fascinated by the pond with ducks and a great atmosphere. The playground is certainly child friendly with all sorts of fascinating things to do. There are tennis courts and a basketball courts holf course for the more sophisticated kids. There is a cafe with all sorts of refreshments and the parking area is accommodative. Playground: It was open and child friendly. Went on a sunny day and enjoyed watching the children play whilst i sat on the benches. Has a lot of diverse play areas and encourages playing together.

Lovely park in reading. Nice park for children, adults and for pets alike. It has good car park and children activities to play. It has tennis courts, Ping Pong tables, small football pitches and lots of green place. Local park for fairs etc. Specially Miniature Railways on Sundays.

Beautiful area, we went to a mini fay festival here and it was the perfect location for it, easy to park, easy to find. Nice scenery and friendly staff. Seems like it would be great for a day out, walk or anything else you might need from a park..

CHRISTCHURCH MEADOWS REVIEWS

A cool picnic spot with a play area for the kids by the shores of Thames!!!!!! A variety of swings and the sand play area makes it a heaven for the young ones!! The bridge that connects connects Caversham with Reading makes it easily accessible by foot or road!!! Reading station and town centre is 10 mins by walk!! The meadows got a set of tennis court as well!! In short a place the entire family can enjoy the nature with a lovely breeze and with lots activity options around!!!

Beautiful green area. Lovely place to sit and feed the ducks, geese and swans, and watch the world go by. Readipop is ongoing at the moment at Christchurch Meadows and it is lovely to see lots of activities here and also listen to the music from the festival. As you can see, I am having a lot of fun in the attached pictures. I love it here.

We went to feed the swans and duck, the bridge is beautiful in night time and park is always clean. Sunset time is amazing. It is available big playground for kids with sand and free half swimming pool and many swing of different types. There is also tennis playground and you can use car park with fee.
