“Thrybergh Country Park hosts fetes, family fun days, and fishing permits. The park offers activities for kids to learn about nature and wildlife, and provides essential habitats for birds and other wildlife. Over 155 species of birds, 20 species of mammals, and 170 species of plants have been recorded in the park. Their level footpaths provide a circular route around the reservoir and are suitable for buggies and wheelchairs. CLIFTON PARK REVIEWS

We haven't been to Clifton park since our children were little so it was lovely to come back. Our Grandchildren played in the park in the skate park with their scooters and we had a picnic then they enjoyed playing in the paddling pool. Then on to the little fairground. We found the prices reasonable and they all loved it. We found the ice cream van to be expensive and they didn't look to do smaller sizes for the young ones but heyho it is what it is I know they have overheads but a toddler version would be so good.

Great park and facilities. Wide open spaces, nice flower beds and rock garden. Playgrounds, sand area, skate park, mini theme park for little ones, adventure golf. Splash park and Museum with cafe. + Roman ruins, land train. Pay for parking and rides.

We had a family outing with our dog too. Everyone loved how much open space there was. Even when busy you could find a quiet space to play ball with our dog. Our Grandchildren enjoyed playing on the park play area. Couldn't try the splash pool as they didn't bring any towels or swimwear. Looking forward to our next visit.

THRYBERGH COUNTRY PARK REVIEWS

A beautiful 3 mile walk round. On one level, wheelchair accessible. A pleasant 17?. Some nice wildlife to spot, including a hummingbird hawk moth, damselflies, meadow browns, ringlet butterflies, pondscaters, and a heron. Hope Fields is lovely, with its bug houses, wild meadow, sculptures, bird watching hide and pond. It has a great little cafe, a good selection of food for a quick bite to eat, plus various coffees and other drinks. Lovely sitting outside to eat today. Proper ice creams are available in an adjacent building, ice cream parlour. There's a small wooden play area/ structure and outdoor seating overlooking the lake. Seed was £1 for feeding the wildfowl at the ice cream parlour. Parking is cash or contactless. We paid £2.70, all day parking, as we would have gone over the £1.60 for 2 hours? (I think) It's definitely worth a visit. Ideal for a stroll and dog walking and that important quality family time. A perfect time to chat in a lovely, peaceful place.

This place has a massive sentimental value to me. I’ve been visiting this place for as long as I can remember and the memories surrounding this place will stay with me forever. Everyone here is so friendly. There is a park for the children. a lovely walk around the reservoir plenty of photo opportunities. Café and lots of picnic areas. I would definitely, definitely recommend a visi.

Lovly little walk, dog friendly, cafe on site picnic benches, feed the duck n small outdoor play area for kids, been twice this week to walk my puppy.

A lovely little spot with great views over Rotherham and Sheffield. The cherry blossom looks stunning at this time of year. There are lovely hidden gems to discover in the grounds such as the beautiful Rotherham red rock outcrops and alcoves. There is a lovely walk through the woods too. Its a great place to walk the dog.

Nice Park and garden, next to the castle. Worth an explore and plenty of viewing spots that are perfect for relaxing/having a picnic. Great views near the castle and lots of trails leading off in different directions from the grounds.

Great for walks. If ya feeling fit start at bottom workin ya way up to castle. Lovely place with lots of different routes to choose.
