“Brynmill Park is full of lush green grass, a lake, a play area, and a kiosk in Swansea. There's a kids' play park and a lake where you can feed the birds. The park is a secure and enjoyable place for people to visit for sporting activities, hiking, and picnicking. There is plenty of room and facilities for a picnic and picnic tables. Brynmill Park has various active and passive entertainment options to create a fantastic setting. The park is accessible to all disability groups. There is a coffee shop by the southernmost exit. There is also a kiosk where food and drinks are sold, and you can buy bird food to feed them. Brynmill Park has ample parking.

“2025 Update: Cwmdonkin Park is an urban park located in the uplands area of Swansea. The park is operated by the city and county of Swansea. Cwmdonkin Park covers 13 acres with the perfect blend of excellent facilities and natural beauty. Cwmdonkin Park is listed on the Cadw/ICOMOS. The park also has a famous events programme that takes place throughout the year in partnership with the Friends of Cwmdonkin Park. A stunning park with various and unique features, references to Dylan Thomas, including a memorial stone which has lines from Fern Hill.”

PARC SINGLETON PARK REVIEWS

A very well maintained park which has lots of different element. If you want to jog, walk, push a pram or wheelchair it has good tarmac paths. Want to observe the beautiful rolling fields and a sea view-go to the top of the park. Enjoy the botanic and ornamental gardens, the roses/tulips/wysteria put on a great show. Walk your dog down by the stream or appreciate the size of the trees. There are also public toilets at top end of park near the German chalet.

Fabulous large green space in Swansea that offers opportunity to walk, cycle, view the superb Botanical walled Gardens and just enjoy this lovely parkland. Currently there is a food area at the lower edge of the park by Mumbles road. Coffee can be bought at Swiss cottage If you cross the main road from Singleton park, you will have views of Mumbles Head.

Wonderful place to visit, plenty of open space. Within the grounds there's a Botanical Gardens which was fabulous. I would have spent more time walking around but it was too hot. I was surprised to find the public toilets locked but found a disabled loo in the Botanical Garden.

BRYNMILL PARK REVIEWS

Brynmill Park is a charming and well-maintained public park, perfect for families, couples, and individuals looking for a peaceful retreat. The park features beautifully landscaped gardens, open green spaces, and a picturesque lake, making it a great spot for picnics, leisurely walks, or simply relaxing in nature. There is a good range of amenities, including a children's playground that and plenty of benches throughout the park. The lake attracts a variety of wildlife, including ducks and swans.

I always love visiting Brynmill Park. It was somewhere my parents used to take me when I was little and now I get the chance to take my 2 year old grand daughter there. She loves feeding the ducks and playing in the playground as well as generally just running around in the open spaces. The Kiosk by the lake sell a fab range of food and drinks at reasonable prices and you can even buy bird food for the ducks, swans and pigeons.

A beautiful park full of wildlife. There is a fence around the whole lake, protecting the birds. Which allows your kids or dog run ahead without worrying! There's a little cafe which also sells duck food. The play park is lovely for kids of all ages.

CWMDONKIN PARK REVIEWS

Nice for a walk if you're in or near Uplands. Also has 3 good tennis courts plus one with a rough but playable surface. They look like they're free. Has a mini basketball court with no hoop (sadly), a table tennis table, zip line and kids play area plus a slide. There's also a nice cafe in the hut in the middle. A great park

Lovely park very well maintained with several areas in it; some good for kids, some good to escape the crowds and just enjoy being out doors. Parking not always so easy but an absolutely lovely park when the weather is good. The visit this time was a pleasant stroll with very few people around (the weather was pretty wild). The place is very hilly but it has got interesting plants and, naturally, a lot of information about Dylan Thomas and other notables who lived around this area.

Lovely open area, ideal for dogs , nice areas for a picnic and a little coffee shop,a well maintained playground for children.
