“LC Swansea has recently upgraded its fitness facilities. They feature the latest TechnoGym equipment with Netflix and free Wi-Fi, so visitors can watch shows while they work out. The gym includes a new functional training area and offers a variety of fitness classes, from yoga and HIIT to kettlebells and pilates. LC Swansea also provides Les Mills classes like Body Combat, Body Attack, and Grit, which are led by certified trainers. Their team of personal trainers is available to help visitors reach their fitness goals. Visitors can relax in the spa, designed for unwinding and recharging. From the outside, the pool looks like great fun with its slides, and there is a Costa and play area for young ones as you enter.

2025 Update: Craig Jones is the general manager of the LC Swansea. They have over 90 instructor-led classes per week. They have various membership plans and offer great value for money.”

Booked this as part of a random day out with my nephew, what a great pick. Could easily spend the day here between softplay area and the water park. Would definitely no park the the multi storey next, go across the road to St Davies car park is so much cheaper.

Swimming pool is fantastic. Kids and adults reallt enjoy it. We have been on holiday to south Wales for 2 years in a row and both times have visited twice in a week. Reallt helpful and friendly staff too.

Lovely staff, let me use a seat after the swansea half to come back to life and the changing rooms to change clothes, really impressed.

PENLAN LEISURE CENTRE REVIEWS

A great gym with lots of high tech equipment. We attended one of the classes, which was fun. This is an old building but has had a lot of work done on it to make it what it is today - a well used and well functioning venue. The center has a great swimming pool, with lane swimming or just to be used for fun - classes, open sessions or lane swimming are all scheduled into the day. The gym seems to be made up of a couple of rooms but it's packed out with equipment, so you are bound to find something to use. Lots of classes too. I have a freedom leisure membership which means I can use this and other gyms in Swansea. It's a really good set up, staff are friendly and helpful across all of the centres and I have seen the same faces in some of them for years, which means it must be good. There are a lot of options for classes, facilities and activities here. I do recommend.

Really good swimming lesson provision. Staff are excellent, my kids love it. Staff are exceptional. So helpful and friendly. The cafe serves nice coffee and a good selection of snacks too.

Friendly staff, nice pool. Good fun with the floats for the kids. Lanes are spacious during lane swimming. Old school site which hasn't changed much since the 90s.

my first time her today and it was awsome!!! im only 16 and i loved it here the staff was great and so helpfull as it was my first time i went up to the counter and got sorted out there they showed me where the gym was inside and i was greeted with a lovley man who showed me around the gym it was clean and everyone in there was respectful and nice and everyone cleaned the machines after they had used it as i left after being there for about 1 hour and a half about 3 staff said hope u enjoyed and they was so nice deffo coming here agin what a gym this is.

One of the best freedom leisure centres. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have indoor basketball /badminton courts and outdoor pitches(football /rugby)with ample lighting. Indoor halls for small events also available. Good swimming pool with bookable lanes available. Ample free parking available . They accept card and cash.

The Gym is busy but absolutely spotless and modern, Gym staff are always available to help and support members when im at the centre tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
