“Telford Town Park is famous for its sports and excellent recreation facilities. The park has fantastic play areas for the kids with lots of seating. There are many paths around the park, making it ideal for dog walking. This park has earned Green Flag recognition for six years, a mark of quality. The park features duck ponds, climbing frames, etc. Telford Town Park has tree and lake-lined walks, a splash pad, picnic areas, sports fields, fishing, adventurous playgrounds, bicycles, quiet gardens, and an enormous array of children's play equipment. “Bowring District Park is an excellent spot for dog walkers. The play area is suitable for kids to burn off some energy, and you can also sit and watch bowlers if a match is being played. The park offers a wide variety of recreational activities and amenities. Bowring District Park provides plenty of opportunities for children to use their imagination. The park features four floodlit all-weather tennis courts, grass tennis courts, a floral display, a cricket pitch, two football pitches, two bowling greens, changing rooms, a café, and a kiosk. TELFORD TOWN PARK REVIEWS

Amazing place is Telford town park so much stuff to do children will never get bored including a giant climbing pyramid, rocket slide, sand play area, water splash area, Sky reach high ropes next to it, a funfair and lots more. We came to visit the Wonderland which is just a short walk away from the park and their is also an exotic zoo next to it. The town also has a Odean cinema, ice skating arena rink & soft play, inflatable theme parks and plenty of shops and restaurants.

Lovely park have to walk through for work etc it’s kept very clean and it’s lovely in all seasons of the year! Quite a few different walks of the town park as well, a big playground for children and it’s right next to town so it’s walkable also has a food and drinks stand, not sure when this is open though and has the visitor centre next to the playground. Nice park to visit.

There is so much to do at the park! Playgrounds for the children, a splash park, gardens and paths to explore, a cafe and much more. The shopping centre, the cinema and Asda are close by... You can easily spend the whole day in the area. Playground: A new playground is being built. The staff are maintaining the other existing playgrounds very well.

DALE END PARK REVIEWS

Nice quiet spot in the world heritage site of Ironbridge. Plenty of paths to explore, benches to relax on and green space to play on. The river Severn runs alongside the park. Plenty of parking for a small fee, and an easy walk into the centre of Ironbridge for shops, cafés and other amenities.

Lovely and well maintained park beside the river Severn in Ironbridge, they’ve had a tough time of it through the winter with the flooding but have always kept on top of maintenance etc. Lovely place to bring the kids for a picnic on a sunny day!

Lovley Park right next to the river with lots of picnic benches and bins. Plenty of parking. Pay and display free for blue badge holders. Just the time for parking as you WILL get a fine.

BOWRING DISTRICT PARK REVIEWS

A lovely park to walk your dog, one side is tarmac the other grass but easy to walk around the perimeter. There are about 5 or 6 spaces as you pull in through the single traffic gate of Haygate Road and just before the Bowring cafe. If you drive past the cafe at 5mph behind the tennis courts there is a further longer parking area to park which has like a hexagan pattern and soil floor. A few dog bins are provided abd sometimes in summer an additional parking area is opened down another road. Ideal time to go is week days as weekends can get busy during lunch time hours.

Absolutely fantastic park. What’s not to love about decent views of the Wrekin + well maintained tennis courts! The outdoor green even has a cricket pitch! Haven’t tried the coffee at the little shop by the entrance yet, hopefully they’re as good as the park itself.

Lovely green space with children's play areas, tennis courts, bowling green and a lovely Cafe. Dog friendly and everyone is very respectful of the area we are afforded to use.
