BLISTS HILL VICTORIAN TOWN REVIEWS
Brilliant experience here with my other half & 2 boys. We had such a lovely day looking at all the olden style of shops, clothes, how things were done back in the day. The people were so friendly & chatty. Lovely pub to grab a beer & fish & chips shop. Sweetshop was a favourite with the boys. Also, do a card (you get on entry) that shops you buy products from stamps it (ask them to stamp it as sometimes they forget to ask u) which if filled you have free parking in the car park. The weather wasn't the best but we still had the best day. Going back 23rd Dec to ice skate on real ice rink there & to see Santa. We can't wait & of course to see the town light up everywhere for Xmas.
Amazing museum. A great interactive experience, especially changing money in the bank and using it to purchase things like bread from the baker. The people in character were very friendly and informative. I particularly liked the houses (scary seeing items you can actually remember seeing in your childhood). My husband is a plumber and loved the workshops and machinery. We spent over 4 hours here but could easily have stayed longer. Visited with my husband and 22-year-old daughter.
If you have any interest in days gone past then you will love this place. I visited just before Christmas and they had gone all out with a brass band, decorated Christmas trees, even fake snow! Very friendly and informative members of staff. A wonderful experience would definitely go again.

HOO ZOO AND DINOSAUR WORLD REVIEWS
Fantastic place, fabulous experience of some rare animals that you don't normally encounter. Staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. Cages are of a nice size and clean. Plenty to look at, see and do. Covid precautions are readily met with lots of available cleaning stations. Toilets were clean and well kept. Felt very safe with social distancing and one way walks clearly outlined. Overall I've been very impressed. Had a great day.
We bought the carnivore combo experience and it was amazing. The group was only small (4 people) and the keeper was very nice knowledgeable and able to read when people have had enough of holding the snake! We had a great time and after the experience, we walked around the farm and fed all the animals. They have a wide variety of animals which all look well cared for and all seem to be happy. I am not one for zoo's as I don't think animals should be kept in cages but when you talk to the staff.
Really great experience. Came here in 2014 and today. Really enjoyable day. I took these pictures of the animal.

Jackfield Tile Museum stands as a premier visitor attraction in The Wrekin, delving into the rich history of the British decorative industry. Housed within the former Craven Dunnill and Company works, this decorative tile factory, now dedicated to tile manufacturing, particularly encaustic tiles, provides a fascinating journey into the intersection of natural resources, remarkable skills, artistry, and craftsmanship within a 19th-century creative hub. Being one of Shropshire's oldest-known ceramic production centres, with roots tracing back to the 16th century, the museum showcases a collection that includes works by William de Morgan and other historic tilers. Additionally, visitors can engage in a tile painting workshop, adding an interactive and creative dimension to the museum experience.

JACKFIELD TILE MUSEUM REVIEWS
An excellent place to visit. The car park is a bit rough. When I visited the car park charging machine was not working. Please check if it is working when you visit. There is a small Cafe. The museum is too dark in places and when I visited it was stiflingly too hot. However, the exhibits were interesting. I think doors should have been proposed open to avoid constant touching of door handles. A could few rooms demonstrated how tiles were used commercially and in the home. Locate these rooms as they are more interesting.
It's interesting for those who like history. They also have a workshop in which you can make a tile of your own. That is an experience in itself and makes you realise the skills involved for those who worked and hand-painted tiles in the past. Worth a visit to say you have done something different and appreciate tiles that were made in the past. If you just want to go and make a tile you do not have to go round the museum you can just go on specific days they do workshops.
Amazing place. Was surprised at just how interesting it was. The examples of tiles were beautiful. Well worth a visit.
