We had a good time here. The main museum floor is two floors down from the main entrance. However there are lifts available and mobility scooters and wheelchairs available for those who might need them. When you start the tour you are given a map and an audio guide (which I would recommend in order to make the most out of your visit. The time journey starts from around the industrial revolution to the modern day. It even has a world war 2 era pub where you can have tea or coffee.

They normally have different exhibitions on the go as well as their main ones which gives a few nice insights into the history of Basingstoke and local historical finds. Mainly though my parents take my daughter and her little cousin up there (they've been going since the kids were around 8-11 years old and still go. The kids love all of the activities there mainly arts and crafts like brass rubbings etc. They go out of their way to make things enjoyable for the kids. There's also a nice tea.

Very fun family and friends night out with some popular up to date music in the evenings, can be a little pricey unless you use a party booking where the price becomes a little more reasonable. Lack of stewarding on the actual ice while your skating, the can lead to afew times where the more experienced can almost be intimidating to the less experienced by skating right in front if them or narrowly avoiding them. Very well maintained rink compared to some others.
