Everything is wonderful about this place. In fact, I'd call it an experience. It's a charity now too. There are many gleaming classic cars, bikes and other vehicles. The staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities first class, massive parking area with coffee and food vans, kids events, a lawn for picnics. And the best bit.... Your ticket lasts all year!!! Yes, come back as often as you like. It was on my bucket list and I shall definitely visit again when passing on the A303.

What an amazing place, we visited on a day that wasn’t too great whether wise whilst we were on holiday. I will say we had been spoilt with the amazing weather and on a normal holiday this would have been a normal day! The museum is amazing and your ticket is valid for a year so you can go back. The staff were lovely and the place was immaculate. The photos do not do it justice though, the red room was nothing but incredible. Plenty for everyone to see and there was plenty to keep children entertained brass rubbings (which I actually did even though I’m a little older than their targeted audience) and Lego stations around too. If we are in the area I’m sure we will return for another visit. If you purchase your tickets in advance there is a discount but we didn’t, just paid on the door.

Really good museum well laid out with a wide selection of all types of vehicles and motorcycles with interesting information on each one. You can save money on the entry cost and the guidebook if you pay for them online in advance. Your entry tickets is valid for a year from date of visit.

Had a lovely day out looking around the house and gardens. The house is impressive from the outside but you can't look at very much of the inside. The bits you can see are very impressive with beautiful architecture. The gardens had a great selection of plants and flowers. They were a joy to explore. Lots of seating is available for a picnic. There are a few walks around the surrounding countryside that would be perfect for a sunny day.

Loved this place. A smaller NT property but it is far more intimate and has a lovely feeling to it. The house flows really well and it was nice to have chats with some of the helpers there. A great insight into the property. We even think we felt a spiritual presence in one of the bedrooms. The gardens are spectacular, several small garden areas, one after another, plus a croquet lawn. Really beautiful.

Followed the Riverside walk with our dog which was really well marked (purple route). Our dog enjoyed a splash in the river. We couldn't go into the grounds as no dogs allowed there. We had a lovely drink in the cafe and delicious hogroast sausage rolls. And our dog enjoyed her doggie ice cream.
