Joseph Locke aims to allow their pupils to thrive academically, socially and creatively by providing a broad, balanced curriculum, engaging lessons and exciting, stimulating experiences in a safe welcoming environment. Over twenty-three different languages are spoken in the home of their pupils. Their popular after school clubs run throughout the year and are updated termly. Daily breakfast club offers a healthy school breakfast for all children. Morning Clubs: Joseph Locke launched the club in November 2018 and offer bagels free of charge to all children in school in both the KS1 and KS2 Playgrounds.

Birkwood Primary School is a caring, supportive and family orientated community where they encourage their children to ‘be the best that they can be’.
