I can’t speak highly enough of Ron’s tutoring. My daughter had been failing NAT5s at the start of the school year, for a number of reasons that include the pandemic. She was very keen to do well but couldn’t get it together. Ron made himself available (online) at short notice about a third of the way through the school year, was incredibly patient but at the same time assessed what she needed and worked according to those the whole time. He continually checked in with her (and us) that she was OK with how things were proceeding, where she wanted to go from there etc. He is an excellent teacher and she went from failing the first exams to getting an A. My daughter was always complimentary about how the lessons went. If you’re considering a tutor, those last two things should be your evidence just there.

My son was in 4th year and struggling with his Maths. He found the speed he was being taught at was too fast and he was missing important info during most lessons. So we looked for a solution and came up with 1 to 1 lessons with the Maths Tutor. He really enjoyed the lessons and found Maths becoming easier every week. He got his results today......an A for his Nat 5. He says he cant wait for his Highers now and obviously we'll be using The Maths Tutor for another year to support him. Thats why i have given 5 stars

Can't recommend Ron highly enough. Maths was not my daughter's strongest subject but Ron made a huge difference to her understanding and confidence and she achieved an A at higher level.
