3 Best Pubs in Rotherham, UK

Came in for a few drinks and a bite to eat with the lads. Great service all around. Lucie and Isabell were incredibly polite and friendly when collecting our empty glasses. Chelsey and Ethan servered us quickly and had smiles the entire time! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Not been to Marquis before for a carvery, usually as a reviewer I don't go to pick faults only tell the truth of what I had, so here goes had the med carvery but added extra Yorkshire puds, I got 4 Yorkshire puds , roast beef Brussels carrots roast potatoes red cabbage collieflower & gravy, the y/puds was beautiful ( sorry couldn't eat all). Short review, the whole carvery was cooked spot on, even the gravy was good. I've done a lot of reviews but this was amazing, one not pick I didn't get much beef, but still enjoyed it. So my compliments to all in the kitchen. It was very busy and that was at 4 o clock Sunday. You definitely need to book. I will go back in a few weeks to see if they have kept up the standard, don't often say this but definitely going back. Try it you won't be disappointed.

This was my first visit to Marquis and I was impressed with the freshness/cleanliness of the establishment. The food was very reasonable and tasted lovely. The staff were friendly, efficient and professional I really loved it. I'm planning on returning very soon ...today with my husband.

Food was amazing, done perfect. Chicken was moist and chips was absolutely awesome the burger was very big and juicy comes out on a sizzler plate. Very cheap. Drinks was nice and cheap only £3.79 for pint of stongbow dark fruits garlic bead was done to how we like it. The atmosphere was very calm and staff was very polite and couldn't help you enough. Thank you.

Wen to this establishment with my partner n my daughter. Amazing is all I can say. The staff was brilliant the food was fantastic very welcoming atmosphere only thing I can say is bring back Diane sauce lol. We will definetly be returning. This is actually one of our favourite pubs to eat at.

The best staff and food combined!! Been so many places before but no where compares to here, we travel to come here. Brilliant with kids and welcoming will be back again very soon thanks guys.

A fantastic menu in a wonderfully traditional pub. Oak beams, lovely decor, great beers, plenty of choice on the menu, and delicious food ... all served with a smile. The quiet country village of Whiston also provides the perfect backdrop. Loved it.

Visited for Sunday Lunch. Lovely cosy pub, very nicely decorated and clean. Staff welcoming and friendly. Served by Bev & Tania who were great and helpful. Food fresh and delicious. Will return.

Excellent Sunday dinner, trio was spot on, the Mrs had sea bass and loved it. Lovely pub, very friendly staff.
