They care about what they do and love their craft. Andrew Baxter has been tattooing since 2009 and has developed his style over a 15-year career. He mainly specialises in black and grey semi-realism; however, he enjoys colour work and eagerly takes on opportunities to create vibrant pieces. Andrew, a talented painter, often uses his own paintings as references for his tattoo work.

The whole experience from start to finish has been great! From booking in, Andrew took the time to arrange a time that suited us both and listened to my ideas. Ian was a great tattooist, super professional and took his time to walk me through the whole experience, and had an awesome playlist too. The after care has been great, with a follow up phone call and comprehensive instructions for the healing process. An amazingly comfortable, happy and fun experience! A superb studio!

Andrew was absolutely incredible. Made us feel very at home. My friend and I got matching tattoos and he made sure that they matched and looked good. He also made sure that once the tattoos were done they were perfect and all of the lines were how we wanted them. Great experience!

I was very anxious to get my tattoo but I wanted to honour my Mum so went for it. Andy was very considerate, calm, patient, interested, professionally and gentle. He listened to my needs,wants and the result is exactly what I asked for with time to alter in the prepping stages. Highly recommended. His other work i have seen is fantastic, may have to return someday. Clean, relaxing, spacious shop with a great vibe.

Second visit to Hieroglyphink now, this time with Ty as the artist. We could not have been happier, a fantastic experience from start to finish. Made to feel so welcome, a proper conversation around the imagery and the placement. The tattoos themselves were better than anything we could have hoped for and we were made to feel so comfortable throughout. Great aftercare information and great communication throughout.
