3 Best Taxis in Gateshead, UK

Even if the day went bad because y had a flat tyre ,the taxi driver was more then five stars ,had a nice chat and even if y had a inconvenient with the tyre, sometimes speaking with someone even for a little bit about silly things as the weather or the problems and make fun of them it's helping ,it was the most beautiful trip y had ,it helped me with the groceries, last night y didnt slept very much and it mattered, that means having a good heart and care about the job u do ,for some people including my self he made my day happier and to hope that its still exists good persons in this world ,thank u very much for everything.

Great service. We were sent a message informing us when the taxi had been dispatched and the very driver was punctual as well as friendly and courteous, helping us with our luggage at both ends. Extremely good value with a set fare (much cheaper and much more convenient than airport parking and the Metro). Definitely recommended. 10/10.

Dean Taxi saved me from arriving late to work this morning. I got a taxi less than 1 mins to my booking. Prompt and fast. Driver was swift and arrived just in time. Definitely using the service again.

The staff are fantastic very friendly who are extremely customer focused. 2 star for them. However I spent so much wasted time trying to "communicate "with the useless machine which asks stupid questions, obviously not programmed to react with answers with the caller. I was greeted with hello "Brown" ( or wherever your surname Is!) That alone is so disrespectful and annoying! Do you wish to be picked up at ... the last drop destination? If that destination isn't the one you require the machine then spounts off 2 or 3 unrelated addresses . I used Dean taxis as recently as yesterday for last time as I had an emergency appointment and it was the only number I had to use. When I vented my annoyance and frustration with drivers on each occasion the reply I got without exception was "everyone says that " If that's the case the why hasn't management done something a out this.? I first used this firm 26th Dec 25 and recently 1st Aprill 26 with approx a couple of dozen bookings during that time all with the same outcome, (definitely NOT a one off) absolutely appalling to have this happen to a customer, knowing about a huge problem it is to potential customers and do absolutely nothing about it. Please be aware if you are fortunate to book a cab , the drivers and staff are brilliant, the company however aren't. Would not recommend to anyone. - Kay Angus Reply
