Fantastic little gem hidden in a busy town. Something for everyone. Large green areas. Two play parks, one for small children and a separate one for the older ones. Has a lake with paddle boats to hire. Also has an area where children can see the various animals that live there.

First trip to Watergate Cafe. Returning visitor to the Park. Good first impressions, we had toasties and another of our party had a scone. Finished off with tea, and a cupcake! Very nice and great to know it is run by volunteers. The Park is always looking lovely and there are fab views.

Very nice park which its rangers work tirelessly to maintain. It offers a play park, skate park, football pitches and a bowling green. It boasts a small lake that is home to swans, geese, ducks, and moor hen. It is very popular with dog walkers. Outbuildings are heavily scarred by graffiti, as is the skate park. The lake looked as though it is also targeted by a delinquent minority who seek to spoil the enjoyment of others and the well-being of the wildlife.
