Honestly, it's really to put into words our wedding day, because I feel words don't justify how Michelle, Kerri and the whole team as The Orangery made us feel on what was the best day of our lives. Michelle was so quick and responsive to all of my questions and small details and no question was ever a silly question. We met with Michelle and Kerri the day before our wedding and they made us feel so at ease and everything was organised and prepped ready to go. Kerri set up the reception decorations for us which was such an amazing treat to walk into what was a stunning room. Kerri was so attentive throughout the whole food service, with so many compliments from our friends and family about how delicious the food was and the wine choice as well. The whole team was just incredible, even with constantly serving us throughout the night and we can't say a bigger thank you to The Orangery. The actual venue itself is stunning with so many different areas for guests to explore. It was such an experience, especially with getting a ferry back across to Plymouth to end the night. We cannot express our gratitude so much. What a place to get married. Thank you so much!!

The Orangery at Mt Edgcumbe was such a dream wedding reception venue. Beautiful, historic orangery, stunning gardens and right by the sea! The Orangery itself is filled with lovely natural light from the huge windows, with gorgeous views of the garden. Michelle was incredibly helpful and flexible admist all the covid madness which meant cutting guestlists and altering plans to make it covid secure at the very last minute. She is so warm and accomodating and all her team were very professional and friendly. They set up our decorations to my specification and took it all down for us afterwards. The service is brilliant with thoughtful attention to detail, such as all the staff vacating the room during speeches to give privacy. The food was amazing! Guests said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding and we certainly enjoyed it! I am so very glad that we chose the Orangery for our wedding reception and whole-heartedly reccommend it.

We had the most fantastic wedding at the orangery! It is a truly beautiful venue and Michelle and the team are so helpful and kind. Our guests were blown away by the location, food, drink and service and we will be forever grateful!

My son and daughter in law chose this wonderful venue for their wedding. It was perfect. The place is so atmospheric and beautiful. The gardens are gorgeous with fantastic view across Whitsand Bay. Indoors is cosy and intimate yet could accommodate the formal wedding feast, the ceremony itself and the Turkish (and other) dancing with ease. The roof top gazebo is also fantastic as a wedding space. The whole venue allows for fantastic photos and is a place to create special memories The accommodation is lovely too with very comfy beds, spotless bathrooms and a feeling of being pampered. I’d highly recommend it as a wedding venue, especially if you love Cornwall.

We were here for a wedding and although the weather wasn’t the best the grounds were beautiful and the fort itself is in amazing condition. Staff were very friendly and it was such a special place for a wedding. Locals were very hospitable and it was such a wonderful experience.

Came here for a wedding and it’s a stunning venue. The views are incredible. Parking is a bit limited and there are trip hazards everywhere, but the view is worth it. Just watch where you’re walking and don’t wear stilettos!
