'Manchester & District Institute Of Iyengar Yoga' is one of the longest established Iyengar yoga Institutes in the UK. MDIIY is a volunteer-led, mutual organisation, which is run by its members for the benefit of its members. The yoga studio has over 20 Iyengar yoga sessions a week for all levels and abilities. Syd Yoga Ashton provides a modern approach to an ancient practice, combining Hatha Yoga and Mindfulness with modern science. Jamie explains yoga and the importance he places on the breathing. He is very knowledgeable about yoga, and his teachings are based on his understandings of yoga practice. Nirmal Prem Kaur is a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga teacher in Syd Yoga. They guarantee a full 90 minutes of attentive exercise and is a world away from the conveyor belt yoga classes found in the West today. They allow a person to naturally progress into the correct pose at their own pace, with patience and guidance from the teacher.
