I frequently visit the Gracefield Arts Centre. A little out of town but an easy 10 minute walk from the Town Centre.Train station next door and on bus routes. Big car parking space. Gracefield has two buildings, the Old House and the more modern studios, which also has a café and craft shop. They have exhibitions that change about every 6 weeks, Adult workshops and a weekly kids art club. I've seen exhibitions that range from more community-based projects through to the Tate's Artists Rooms.

Call for Hours

Thank you so much for the print of Rosefield Mills and also the lovely poems relating to the mill. Your poem on the blowing up of the chimney stack and how at the final moment a thick mist appeared was both eerie and moving. As the mill belonged to my family, the subject is very close to my heart but regardless of that connection, I find your painting a delight. With the River Nith in the foreground, to look at the painting with its subdued colours everything looks so calm and peaceful.
