THE ROPEWALK REVIEWS
Really like this venue. Small and intimate with around 120 seats. Some great well-known acts there too from music and cinema to live comedy. Not many places you can see faces off the TV for a little over a tenner, but you'll find them cropping up here quite regularly, so keep an eye on their what's on listings. Also, a well stocked and well-priced bar. Venues like this are well worth supporting.
Went for a comedy night. Had great fun. And the tickets was really cheap too.
Friendly staff. Tables cleaned and cleared promptly. Nice food menu. Good selection of cakes and tray baked. Lovely coffee. Close to some good walks.

20-21 VISUAL ARTS CENTRE REVIEWS
Recently I attended a training course at 20-21. The venue was excellent, the room provided was spacious, comfortable and overlooked the peaceful courtyard. It was easily accessible for disabled colleagues being close to the entrance and facilities and there were no steps to negotiate. The cafe was close by and the food looked top notch and great value for money, the latte I bought was excellent. We had a savoury buffet provided by the cafe which was lovely and fresh and the staff were helpful.
What an awesome place the arts centre is, I was there to entertain for a fabulous Halloween event as Jack Skellington, The Pumpkin King through Area51! A brilliant building, beautifully integrated into an old church building adjacent. Really great friendly staff and lots of energy for their event and the arts! It was a pleasure to be part of the day.
Based in the old St John's church in Scunthorpe town centre. A free to enter venue, donations always welcomed though. A cafe, small shop (plus toilets) along with the main display area in the old church. Here's a few photos of the place, plus one of the displays for 2023 Botanical Engineers an old petrol tanker - see if you can see what's cut into the tanker now. I truly recommend
