“The Sainsbury Centre is one of the most famous art galleries in Norwich. Established in 1973 at the University of East Anglia, they are renowned for their diverse and world-class collection. As the first museum globally to officially recognize art's living energy, they allow people to engage deeply with the arts. Designed by Norman Foster, the Centre was his first public building and features large, temperature-controlled gallery spaces. Made possible by Sir Robert and Lady Sainsbury, the centre is a major art destination outside national institutions, located on a scenic 350-acre campus. The Sainsbury Centre Board meets three times annually to establish overarching policies and strategies, and to ensure that the necessary resources are available to achieve their strategic goals.”
