THE WOODHOUSE HOTEL REVIEWS

We stayed here as attending a wedding function at a nearby hotel. The owners Lilian and Willie were amazing hosts and very friendly. The beds are so comfy had a great sleep and breakfast was top class. Already talking about a returned visit in the summer.

Very good and friendly service. The personal touch made us feel like family. We where in a tricky situation not having caught the ferry, they provided us with more than we needed and saved our day!

Brilliant beer garden and put on an excellent buffet for the function I attended, staff were friendly and attentive overall great service all round.

NORTHEND GUESTHOUSE REVIEWS

The Northend is an excellent B&B. Simply put, we've paid a lot more in the past for significantly lesser experiences in hotels. From the moment we arrived, Allison and Ray were extremely friendly, thoughtful and helpful. The room, Brisbane Glen, was really well appointed - a good size, stylishly furnished, warm and comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a roll top bath and separate power shower, with emphasis on the power! We had a great sleep in a comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing - there's a large choice of cereals, fruits, pastries and juices, tasty fresh filter coffee, and a good choice of hot breakfast items thereafter. The Full Scottish breakfast was both delicious and enormous. We loved our stay and when we're back in the area, we'll certainly be trying to book here again!

Ray and Alison were brilliant hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Superb breakfast (everything you need to start the day off well). The room was immaculate and to a very high standard. Highly recommend to stay here when visiting Largs and look forward to our next visit.

Ray and Allison are brilliant hosts and made us really welcome. The room was spotless with nice touches like bathrobes and slippers. Finish it off with an amazing breakfast and you will be planning you next visit before you leave. Highly recommended.

Had such a lovely stay, never felt so relaxed! Elaine was lovely and thought of everything, lots of special touches! Breakfast was awsome...wished I never had to come home , would highly recommend and cant wait to come back, thanks to Elaine for making it such a warm welcoming place!

Brilliant log cabin. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was incredible. Will need to go back when the weather is a bit better however that cant be helped. Thanks again to Elaine for the breakfast and hosting us.

Everything about my stay was brilliant, it's the small touches and attention to detail that makes the difference, the breakfast lived up to expectation and the hot tub was well maintained. Place was immaculate.
