“2025 Update: Marsh Farm is a family-run business that has been welcoming guests for over 60 years. Their traditional tea room can accommodate up to 50 people for private parties and is also an ideal venue for coach parties. Marsh Farm also offers Sunday lunch on the first Sunday of each month. Their Bed and Breakfast rooms provide a wonderful base for both getaways and business guests visiting the area. The rooms are located in a converted barn and are decorated and furnished to a high standard. Marsh Farm also offers free parking for their guests.”

This was by far the best place I’ve ever stayed. Richard was the most attentive host - nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful and big, with free tea/coffee, a espresso maker, plus complimentary soft drinks/snacks in the fridge, which was also restocked daily. I felt safe and secure, and the building was quite with a lovely view. Shops and pubs/restaurants less than a few minutes away plus public transport. The breakfast was beautiful and brought to the room with lovely coffee and juice. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you Richard.

Had an excellent stay here. The host Richard could not do enough for you from check in to check out. Complimentary mini fridge was superb as was the coffee machine. Breakfast was amazing and a lovely touch served in the room. Felt very well looked after and will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Having stopped in the finest hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts before I can only describe this one as 5+ stars. From booking, to arriving, the welcome, the accommodation, and the food was all first class. The cost was very reasonable, I would have expected to pay much more given how good it was. Well done the owners!

Just returned from a fantastic weekend stay (we was at the show ground). The rooms are immaculate, comfy bed with good furnishing. The farm has some of the most beautiful countryside views that are only eclipsed by the marvellous breakfast, and this is the only B&B I know of that supplies a teapot in the room to ensure a perfect cuppa!!

Very close to Weston Hall for a wedding. Absolutely stunning views, really enjoyed the breakfast. The host was very nice and pleasant. Great place if your out rambling for sure. Bed was comfy and room very clean. Would definitely stop here again.

We stayed at Rooks Nest for one night only, as we had been to a wedding. It was very comfortable, everything we needed in the room. The breakfast was excellent, as much as we could eat. There are some stunning views, and, as the mist was low on the fields, it looked amazing. Would definitely recommend.

MARSH FARM REVIEWS

No hesitation in recommending this family run B&B and tea room. It is a working farm just off a very quiet country main road. There is no traffic noise. Accommodation was traditional for a guest house/B&B. Our room was large and airy and perfectly clean. There was also a communal area with TV lounge, dining area and kitchen. We didn't use this but good for longer stays maybe with family. Breakfast was ample, plenty of choice and served promptly. We enjoyed our stay here.

Visited this lovely farmhouse today and must say the hole was well worth the visit the service was excellent the food amazing good old fashioned home made food it's been along time since I've enjoyed the vegetables on my plate this place is well worth a visit.

60 pensioners and myself enjoyed a wholesome well cooked meal in very pleasant surroundings. And a walk around a beautiful garden.TOP HOLE day.
