OWENS RESTAURANT & BAR REVIEWS
Very pleasant in here, nice friendly staff, we were here for breakfast, plenty to choose from on the menu, catered for a gluten free breakfast for me as well with bread for toast and a gf cheesy hash brown! Coffee was good as well, would definitely come back and check out the food for lunch and dinner times, specials board inside showing what looked to be nice and interesting food! Pleasant dining experience all in all. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options on the menu Dietary restrictions: Menu doesn’t display dietary restrictions, ie gluten free, but this can be catered for if you ask.
One of the best fish and chips in England so far. Super flaky and fresh haddock fish. Light and crispy crust. Have had quite a few. Love the ambience and service too.
I've had several meals at Owens and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious and the service is always great. Make sure that you check out the specials board when you visit.

THE SWAN & CEMETERY REVIEWS
I am ceoliac, my food has to be gluten free. The chef was very helpful and went through the menu. There was plenty of choice. Food came beautifully cooked and was very tasty. Prices not too bad will go again very soon. Dietary restrictions: Very good for ceoliacs, good variety and if you ring the day before the chef will have various dishes available that he will make gluten free such as battered fish and chips or gluten free pie etc.
We went as a group of 12 for my mums birthday. Fantastic food and service with a very warm welcoming by the manager. It isn’t our first visit and won’t be our last!
A friend and I went for a nice tea. The menu looked great and I chose the vegetarian fish and chips, which was battered halloumi with chips and mushy peas, it was all really lovely. The batter was beautiful. Im not vegetarian normally but I love some halloumi. I'd like to try alot of the dishes on menu, they all sounded tasty. Nice and cosy atmosphere. I'll be going back.
