THE GROVE REVIEWS
Food beautifully cooked. Great vegan options. I had soup of the day with warm sourdough bread starter and vegan fish & chips, delicious. Hubby also had soup of the day starter and chicken & leek pot pie which he gave 10/10. Dog friendly. Great service & atmosphere.
Amazing gastro pub that serves vegan (and meat) roast on sundays. We popped in for lunch after an appointment in the area. I am so glad we found this fantastic place! Service was very helpful and attentive, food was amazing and we were lucky to get a table in the enchanted gardens at the back. The best vegan roast I ever had! Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendly. Vegan roast highly recommended.
Came here for a nightcap and dessert after taking our dog for a walk. We had come here before for a friend's wedding reception and didn't really rate the Sunday roast, however enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding and drinks.

THE HAVEN ARMS REVIEWS
They have a very nice beer garden. Bar staff were very friendly. The Guinness was well pulled and nicely chilled. One thing to improve would be to make sure all the tables outdoors have ashtrays. I think I saw one ashtray for like 8 tables. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back.
Nice local pub with pool table. Nice selection of beers and ciders. Fabulous roast dinners and fish&chips. The desserts are also really nice. Really enjoyed our time there.
This is a "local" pub, absolutely wonderful! The Boss is a Labrador. Good selection of kegs on offer along with a small selection of well chosen casks. The staff (including said Labrador) are lovely. There's a pool table for the sporty types and plenty of screens for those that recognise sporty types. A great place to go for a bevvy.
