We arrived on a Wednesday evening as a table of 8 without a reservation and a table was made up for us with no problem. The atmosphere was lovely. Menu had a good choice of starters, mains and light bites. Service was excellent. Food was tasty and dishes were very generous. I would recommend eating here.

Service was great and the halloumi burger was absolutely delicious, definitely try it if you’re a fan of halloumi. There were plenty of other options that looked good too.

Really tasty food, we had chicken and haggis, and a mixed grill. Plenty of food on the plate.

Stopped off for lunch having read the previous reviews and really glad we did. Had the dog with us so had a table in the bar. The place was fresh and clean staff were attentive and friendly and so were the locals. We went for the 2 course option and having a couple of pensioners with us they opted for the slightly smaller pensioner option. Food was really good and so reasonably priced. Couldn’t fault and we would definitely be back.

Haven't been here in the longest time. Absolutely loved it from the minute we walked through the door we were met with a warm welcome. Food was great atmosphere happy and buzzing, great choice of drinks. Can't wait to go back.

We’re on holidays in the area and called in for lunch today. This place is a gem, the staff and food were fabulous! Can’t fault anything about it.

Fantastic food, service, atmosphere and more. The best experience we’ve had in Scotland (and in fact, best for the whole of the UK). We are Australian and travelling Scotland for 10 days. We also stayed in the accommodation and if I could give more than five stars I would. The decor was superb and and the little ‘extras’ including complimentary drinks and snacks, GHD hairdryer and straightener etc really took this accomodation to the next level! Next time, I wouldn’t bother moving around different accomodation, rather base myself here and day tour. All staff that we dealt with were incredibly friendly, polite and welcoming. The absolute highlight of our trip.

Awesome restaurant and pub! The food is fabulous! Tonight we had fish and chips. Luke waited on us - super friendly and even suggested several places for us to visit - we are from the US and spending a week in the area. This was our third visit to eat in two days! The bartender was amazing as well - makes a great Cosmopolitan. In fact, all the staff was wonderful.

A bit out of the way, but all worth it if you get a table with a view. Best fish n’ chips tried so far, and the pizzas were tasty. The haggish in particular was amazing. Worth travelling for, for evening meals or part of a day trip in the area.
