First time at the coach house for an unplanned lunch visit. Staff were very welcoming and restaurant surroundings amazing. We ordered fish and chips and steak pie off of the lunch menu and for being relative staples of any menu these were easily the best I’ve tasted. Definitely going to book for Sunday dinner based off of our visit. Easily a 5 star review.

What a stunning restaurant. We visited a couple of weeks ago, as was at a local spa. What a great choice we made. Restaurant is absolutely beautiful, service was second to none and the food was soo good. Will definitely be back.

Excellent village pub. Cosy wee bar and separate restaurant with beautiful private dining area where we have enjoyed many special family occasions. Lovely (sunny) beer garden too. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

FLYING SCOTSMAN REVIEWS

Went in to try out the new menu.I went for the salt and Pepper chicken and the other half had the flat bread. Both were piping hot and tasty. Then tried out the desserts lava cookie, the blondie and caramelised cheese cake again desserts were tasty and finished the lot. This all washed down with some Guinnes. Get yourself down to try out the new dishes on the menu.

A wee hidden gem. Food was great and Theresa was tremendous! Would come back a second time just to see Theresa. She really makes you feel welcome and is so friendly with a great sense if humour. Will definitely return to this place!

A great carpark right outside which is very handy , ans then on the walk up to the door there is 2 stunning gentleman painted on the windows which gives you a warm welcome , inside the service was great and the food even better. I would highly recommend.

THE BOARDING HOUSE REVIEWS

We have been here a few times and enjoyed the freshest seafood but I felt I must write a review as once again we had a superb dinner; especially the whole lobster which was amazing according to my son. But in addition the staff went out of their way to attend to us. We had walked to the restaurant and the weather became dangerously stormy. The manageress went over and above to get us home safely and I also lost an earring which another member of staff found the next day and called me to collect. Now that’s service.

Absolutely fantastic experience at the Boarding house! My server Anna was bursting with charisma and the food was bursting with flavour! Absolutely cannot praise our server enough and commend all the other staff for their service. Will be back.

At a party there. Place lovely, clean and staff friendly. There was only one disappointment the lack of variety of spirits and on display some bottle where actually empty or not enough for a measure. That wouldn't stop be going back though.
