ALLAN'S TRADITIONAL FISH & CHIPS REVIEWS

We go there quite often for the afternoon tea menu, which is really cheap for three courses. There is a good choice on the menu. It is a bit more expensive after 4pm but still cheap compared to other similar places. Staff are friendly and take your order quickly. Food is piping hot, and the homemade peas, served with certain options, are much nicer than the garden/mushy peas served in most places. I highly recommend this place for a great, cheap meal when in Paisley.

Just had lunch menu of Lentil soup, fish, chips and real peas with vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce. Excellent food, value and service with a smile. Total gem of a place.

Lovely traditional fish & chip shop for carry out or sit in. Immaculate inside and out, staff are all very friendly food is great, so worth a visit.

My wife and I pop in for a quick fish and chips and we were offered the Paisley Fiver Feast deal. The girl who served us described it as a small fish and chips for a fiver including bread and butter and tea. What a fantastic deal well done Castelvecchi. Excellent value for money and fantastic service.

My wife and I along with our 3 children stopped in for lunch with my wife's Mum, Dad and Brother after taking a stroll through Paisley. (I didn't take any pictures inside as I didn't want to possibly offend the other patrons).

Absolutely fantastic I went for breakfast and it was awesome and went back with my fiance and he loved it too will be back for sure The staff are amazing too and it's an authentic cafe so few left well done.

Staff were friendly and helpful.Had a delicious baked potato, plenty of toppings to pick from. Portion was large and done more than one meal. Baked potato was cooked perfectly, would recommend.

One of the best chip shops in Renfrewshire. Food is always fresh and tasty. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Great range to choose from.

My wife and I had the chicken curry and cheese baked potato tonight it was absolutely delicious lovely big portions i would thoroughly recommend
