“Sugar & Ice Leicester is located in the heart of the East Midlands. For the past 15 years, they have worked to provide high-quality cakes, ingredients, and equipment at affordable prices. Designing and creating bespoke cakes for all occasions is just one part of what they do. They also support cake decorators of all levels, from complete beginners to experienced bakers, in making their own unique creations. The shop hires out equipment, tins, stands, and knives; runs cake decorating courses; prints edible photos; and sells all the ingredients and tools needed to create your own cakes. Their story began within a catering company, where they started making cakes alongside catering for parties and special events. Wanting to grow further, they opened a small cake decorating shop on Coalville High Street in 2002. On-street parking is available. Helium balloons are also available for purchase.

2025 Update: Debbie is the Owner and manager of Sugar & Ice Leicester. They have some fantastic ranges coming in soon, such as new candles and a variety of flavourings. They also have a range of different coloured candy melts, tempering chocolates, edible sprinkles and glitters, cake lace and much more. They stock a variety of shapes and sizes of tins and moulds.”

Baker St made a beautiful macaron tower and small signature cutting cake for our wedding . It was so beautiful and tasted delicious ! There is a cliche that wedding cakes don’t get eaten but every last piece was enjoyed by our guests and many guests admitted to eating multiple macarons ! The communication was brilliant and the set up went smoothly ! Couldn’t have asked for more and we are so happy that we can visit Baker St when ever we want to try our macarons ! We even bought some to enjoy the day after our wedding ! Thank you so much to all the team !

We ordered an 18th birthday cake and are so pleased we did. From the first email to collecting the cake, the service and attention to detail was excellent. The cake was more than we could have expected. It looked amazing and tasted delicious. Thank you Nailah for everything.

Fantastic cakes and taste delicious. As we can never make our mind up with what cake we all like, I always buy 5 slices and join them up. And there is enough left over for the next day. Highly recommend . You have to park off road or in a layby.

Clean, professional and very aesthetic. The service here is very friendly and professional. The cake presentation is out of this world. I was served by a lady named Bhavani who was extremely helpful. I would 100% recommend.
