Me and my friends dined at this restaurant and had the pleasure of being assisted by Sreelal, the assistant manager. His exceptional service and professionalism stood out from the moment we arrived. Sreelal went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. He was attentive, courteous, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal.

I had been to Kayal’s sister restaurant in Leicester, Herb, several times and decided to try here. It’s amazing. The food is outstandingly good, freshly prepared, well presented and packed with flavour. Service is fabulous, exactly the right level of attentiveness, politeness and helpfulness.

Fantastic food! Great service from Mahi and the rest of the staff. Walked in on a Wednesday evening and was immediately seated. Highly recommend the Lamb Dosas and the Chef's signature Cheera Erachi Curry. I loved the lime pickle as well. Might be my new favorite condiment.

We recently hosted my engagement party at Tipu Sultan Leicester and I feel obliged to write a review regarding our experience. From the very start during the planning stage, till the very end of our event, the manager and staff at Tipu sultan were outstandingly accommodating and pleasant to work with. They listened to our needs and requests, were always on standby, and allowed us to have the most enjoyable and stress free afternoon which exceeded all expectations. The starters had arrived merely 20 minutes after everyone had arrived and settled, and shortly after the mains arrived as well. All items were hot, fresh, and tasted delicious. It is obvious that the food is prepared with a lot of love, care, and is uniquely authentic. The interior design of the restaurant itself is breathtakingly beautiful, and the atmosphere was lively and pleasant. The only thing we would say is that the women’s bathroom could be maintained a little better. Other than that we had an amazing time hosting our engagement at Tipu Sultan, and we would definitely visit again in the future. I highly recommend this restaurant to host events, or even if you are just wanting a meal out.

Had a good time at the restaurant. Clean environment, top-notch ambience. The music could have been better. Service was brilliant, and they checked in throughout. Tasty meals, good portions, and a wide array in the menu. Adequate parking spaces as well.

Authentic flavours mixed with pleasing atmosphere was this place. The food was true to its name and we loved everything we ordered. It was delicious and quite swift in getting to us as well. However, the service could have been a bit more friendly the lady servers were very attentive and polite but one of the male server was very rude in demeanour and it was easy to witness his attitude in serving us. Anyways if you would like to eat some hearty Indian food this is a must try place.
