THE FORGE INN REVIEWS
The atmosphere, staff and food here are all too notch. The pub is also nicely furnished and makes you feel comfortable. The price is very reasonable for what you get, and what you get isn’t a slap up plate of food it is a tasty meal prepared excellently with care and diligence. My props to the Chefs.
I don’t normally leave reviews on restaurants unless they’re really good and In this instance it was AMAZING. The Sunday dinner was fantastic, it definitely is one of the best roast dinners I’ve had in the area and the chocolate fudge cake was incredible (and huge). Service was very good and all waiters were very polite and attentive. 10/10 highly recommend.
Really nice friendly country pub, great selection of beers, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Good sized car park too. Well worth a visit.

THE OLD HORSE REVIEWS
1st time, I've been back in 20 years. It's much better, brighter and more friendly. The young lady who served me was a bit grumpy and barely gave eye contact, grunted when I asked for a glass for the bottled drink given. However I will be returning for food as I really enjoyed my visit and the food I saw looked really good.
Brilliant Everard's community pub, a ten min walk from Leicester rail station, a range of Everard's beers, plus several guest ales on the bar, large interior is complemented by a small drinking area facing the road, and a huge beer garden out the back, not to be missed.
Great local pub with nice garden at the rear, good selection of drinks and sides. Love the service and vibe! Nice experience every time.

THE PARCEL YARD REVIEWS
Love this place. It doesn't look like much from the street entrance next to the station, but once inside you're greeted with a modern and spacious look and feel. Huge ceilings make it feel like an event having a pint. Food was great, hand made skinned fries with a lovely warm beef and cheese sandwich. Highly recommended.
This pub is literally outside the train station. The front looks like a small coffee shop but believe it it’s huge inside and amazing. You need to walk down a set of stairs to the bar area which, has numerous beers on offer. They had interactive darts which, was great. There was another game which you had to slide the weights down. The young gentleman who ran the pub explained how they look after the table and how the game was played. It was £5 for 30 mins. A really good interactive game. There were about four different areas to sit in if you wanted to with either sofas, table and chairs or booths. The pub was very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Really wish we had gone in this pub when we first arrived in Leicester. Definitely a pub to visit.
Great pub great range of beers large and interesting range of Spirits and good food. Held a CAMRA meeting here and they were very helpful and obliging even gave a free buffet. Would certainly recommend a visit and will definitely be going back myself. Interesting and quirky decor.
