ST THOMAS OF CANTERBURY CHURCH REVIEWS
My family and I attended the Christmas Eve service- what a lovely atmosphere! The orchestra were fantastic and the Vicar really struck the right note. After not having been to Church for the last year and a half it was very enjoyable. We hope to visit again.
A great worship experience - friendly people, excellent music, meaningful liturgy, high standards and professional priests - this is how it should be done.
Visits the church today a very beautiful place will be going back.

St Peter's Church is located in the heart of South Weald village, on the outskirts of Brentwood, Essex, close to its church primary school. They are fortunate to have a magnificent building in a picturesque location where generations of Christians gather to worship and serve their local community. The church, despite the village's small size, is notably spacious and proudly occupies the hilltop in South Weald, just two miles from Brentwood in Essex. St Peter's serves as the central church of the area, and until the mid-19th century, Brentwood, along with its chapel, fell under the jurisdiction of South Weald. The existing church structure is primarily from around 1150, with the South Door adorned with chevron ornamentation, being the only remaining Norman architectural element. Daily Morning and Evening Prayer services continue to be accessible online.
