St Thomas of Canterbury Church is host to many wonderful events and concerts throughout the year. The church is open for worship and private prayer. All are welcome to join as the congregation emerges from recent restrictions. St Thomas of Canterbury Church’s Music Foundation oversees all music in the church, ensuring it is a safe environment for everyone. Originally built as a small chapel for passing pilgrims, the church has since expanded significantly. The church sits within the Catholic tradition of the Church of England and is under the care of the Bishop of Richborough.

2025 Update: The history of St Thomas of Canterbury Church goes back as far as 1221. They stream their morning and evening prayers daily through their Facebook page at 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. The church has a total of three meeting rooms, each with a capacity of 15 people.

St Peter's Church is blessed with a beautiful building in a scenic location where generations of Christians have worshipped and served their local community. The church is relatively large for a small village and stands atop a hill at South Weald, two miles from Brentwood in Essex. St Peter's Church is the mother church of the area, and until the mid-19th century, Brentwood, with its chapel, was under the jurisdiction of South Weald. The present church dates from about 1150, although the South Door, with its chevron ornamentation, remains the sole Norman feature. Daily Morning and Evening Prayer services are offered online.

2025 Update: St Peter's Church is a historic Anglican church. You can join their range of weekday activities. The Church has Belli Centre Facilities, the activities include meditation, yoga, music groups, and a variety of children’s groups. The facility is a fully-equipped, commercial-standard kitchen, with a capacity of 80 seated around tables and 130 standing.

Hutton & Shenfield Union Church is a vibrant and warm welcome church place of worship. The church building features several beautiful and adaptable rooms that are frequently rented out for various groups and events. They have lots of groups, organisations, and children's events inside their church and in the local area. The church hosts worship services, including special Sunday classes, Bible teaching, prayer, choir, baptism, and catechism. Their mission is to share their faith, in word and action, with the community around them and with the wider world. Throughout their history, church members and their families have been involved in missionary work overseas, which continues today.

2025 Update: The church was opened by The Rev Thompson, who is their first permanent minister. The church has been built for more than 100 years. Rev Alex Newens is the new Minister.
