ST MARTIN'S CHURCH

North Holmes Road, Canterbury CT1 1PW DIRECTIONS

Since 1952

Here’s The Deal:
St Martin's Church is a church with a long tradition. It is a growing church working in a large and diverse parish near the centre of Canterbury. The St Martin Church is an ancient Church of England parish church in Canterbury, England, situated slightly beyond the city centre. It has the most extended continuous history as a parish church in the English-speaking world. The church is almost like a fine miniature example of the Gothic Perpendicular style, and much of the architectural features of the interior remain sympathetic to the original design. The stained glass windows pay testimony to Queen Bertha of Kent. The churchyard contains the graves of many notable local families.
