I've used Westgate Dry Cleaners for a number of years, mainly for dress alterations as I'm very petite! Couldn't recommend enough - they measure the garment on me beforehand which helps get the length 100% right. The last dress I had altered was ready in 3 days, finished exactly as I requested and they had even pressed it for me too as it is a delicate linen. You can trust them to do an exceptional job even on your most expensive garments. Thank you!

Always reliable, really knowledgable about working with textiles, friendly & speedy service. Repeat customers!! I've had belts hole punched, complex work altering chiffon shirts, trousers rehemming and minor adjustments to clothing. They also stretched a cotton blouse back to size that was shrunk in the tumbledryer. Very knowledgeable about working with silk and delicate fabrics. Always upfront low pricing, unlike the other alterations shop in Canterbury, you won't be taken advantage of by this local small owned business.

I needed a jumpsuit from Reiss taken in both around the waist and hips as I’m petite and they don’t do a smaller size. I brought this for a wedding next weekend. They have done a fantastic job, I am so pleased with it. It fits perfectly now and they altered it very quickly. Staff are also so friendly, I highly recommend them.

Definitely the BEST dry cleaners in Canterbury. I took my wedding dress to them. It had coffee stains all over it and had been hanging in the wardrobe for 6 years. They said they didn't like to be beaten by stains and they certainly weren't! It smells fresh and is like new!! Thank you so much.

Proctor’s dry cleaners are absolutely amazing! Staff are genuinely very helpful and friendly. A very prompt service too. I’ve had a wedding dress and two flower girl dresses dry cleaned recently and each one was cleaned and finished to perfection. I would certainly recommend Proctor’s. They also offer BLC discount too! Thank you Proctor’s.

Got a dress dry cleaned for a wedding, they did it super fast and weren’t sure whether the big old stain would come out but they did it superbly! Great customer service from a lady called Tina, she was brilliant, and a lady called Paula was helpful too offering for me to come and get it early in the morning, would highly recommend! I had three local firms including a Timpsons saying that they couldn’t do it! I won’t take my dry cleaning to anywhere else now!

Very helpful. I collected my dress and found that the mark had not fully been removed. When I took it back they agreed, without quibble, to clean it again. The mark still remained after the second go so they advised me to gently hand wash the dress, which I did. The mark came out and as a gesture of good will they agreed to press it for me. Tina was polite and helpful throughout. Definitely recommended.

Fabulous service - quick turn around, great outcome at a reasonable cost and lovely people! High recommend!
