Whether you're a history buff, an architecture enthusiast, or simply seeking a moment of quiet reflection, Norwich Cathedral offers a truly memorable experience.

Stunning Cathedral, located near the River Wensum in the City of Norwich, Norfolk, UK. A lovely volunteer, Diane, had a great conversation with us, her knowledge and enthusiasm for this wonderful building are a real asset to the Cathedral. The Cathedral has some amazing features and tons of hidden history and it was so much fun finding new facts, we ended our visit feeling inspired, and knowing we would return.

It was one of the most beautiful cathedrals I've ever been. So elegant, vast, great architecture. Wonderful place to visit. The entrance is free, but there is no parking. Just make sure to read parking signs properly, because I couldn't properly. So I had to pay the fine of 25 pounds. They welcome donations.

TOP 3 THE CATHEDRAL OF ST JOHN THE BAPTIST REVIEWS

Absolutely beautiful Cathedral. Just a short walk from the city centre is this absolute gem of a Cathedral. There is parking on site but not many spaces. Easy access from the main entrance or the level entrance round the side via the cafe area. When we went the place was deserted which really added to the atmosphere. I was able to get some amazing images inside without disturbing anyone and could take my time soaking up all the beauty this building had to offer. The cafe is ample sized with toilets and contactless donation system. Highly recommend visiting if you’re a fan of cathedrals or if you’re on the outskirts and want to stop by the cafe.

Did a tower tour (a guided tour to the roof of the tower) - included fascinating explanations by the very knowledgeable and friendly staff, and the views were amazing! It gets called off if it's too wet, but we were lucky, managed to go up between storms. The rest of the cathedral is beautiful too, and the cafe is lovely. Well worth a visit, recommended.

Lovely church, the architecture and stain glass windows are just absolutely stunning. Lovely little cafe, and the site is dog friendly which is always a huge bonus. Would recommend a visit.

TOP 3 ST PETER MANCROFT CHURCH REVIEWS

This is a beautifully light church well worth 20 minutes of your time to visit. As we walked through the door we were made to feel extremely welcome by the friendly volunteers who immediately gave us a guide to the church. There is a lot to learn. Children will love ascending the bell tower.

This is a beautiful church to visit and a calm oasis in the centre of the city. My recent visit was to see Gaia globe and it was magical and awe inspiring. The only downside was that it was tremendously busy.

Absolutely gorgeous place to visit! Free of charge, definitely worth a visit. Well maintained church with a lot of history!
