St. Michael's Parish Church is one of the community's oldest and largest burgh churches. This place of worship has a rich history, dating back to the 12th century when it opened its doors for services. Initially, it began as a chapel in 1242. St. Michael's Parish Church is an inclusive and vibrant community, welcoming people from all corners to join their masses, prayers, and events. The church offers various services and activities catering to residents and visitors. Visitors have consistently praised the church's mesmerizing experience, with burning candles, enchanting music, heartfelt poetic prayers, and the ethereal light streaming through their exquisite stained glass windows. In 1992, the Society of Friends of St. Michael's Church commemorated the church's 750th anniversary by installing a new stained glass window in the St. Katherine's Aisle.
