“Creative Dance Centre was established in February 2017, and the school has grown from strength to strength, now having over 180 children. The dance school is owned by Helene Huck, who trained professionally at SLP College in Leeds. The school offers a wide range of classes for children aged 3 to 18 years and adults too. They follow the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) dance syllabus professionally. The school offers fun and exciting classes, helps children develop confidence, strength, and a passion for dance and the performing arts, as well as encourages and supports those wanting to further their training to a professional level.

2025 Update: Helene Huck performed within the industry for 10 years, after graduating with a National Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre and LAMDA in Musical Theatre. She has numerous theatre, international, and television credits. Creative Dance Centre also provides workshops. They offer a 2-hour Dance Party in their fully equipped dance studios. You can choose from any style of dance, from Street Dance to Acro Dance, and also learn exciting choreography to a song of your choice, and the sessions also hold Disco. The school has free parking, changing rooms, a cafe, and a seating area.”

My daughter has just grown in confidence since starting at CDC when she was 3. The teachers bring the best out of her and she really enjoys dancing there. She has met some friends for life and all the children and parents are supportive of each other.

I’ve been a pupil at KMAD for around 10 years now and can honestly say it is like a second family. It’s my safe space to express myself and develop my passion for dance. Everyone is so supportive of one another despite many competing in the same category. We are one big team that drive each other forward to achieve our goals, in a fun and enjoyable way. Kirsty is one of a kind and goes above and beyond to support you to achieve your potential. It’s clear that Kirsty truly cares for her pupils and is often an emotional support mechanism for many, and it’s clear it is not just a ‘business’, Kirsty puts her heart and soul in to KMAD & all that attend.
