“Dupont Dance Stage School was founded by Janette Dupont in the mid-fifties and is now one of the leading stage schools. Rebecca Sarrafan is the principal of the school. The dance school offers exemplary training in all rounds of dance, drama, and musical theatre in a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere. Dupont Dance Stage School offers weekly classes to children from the age of 3 to 18 and some adult classes. The dance school follows the Royal Academy of Dance curriculum. The power of this approach is reproduced in their examination and competition results and record of success in the profession. Dupont Dance Stage School has five fully-equipped studios, boys' and girls' changing rooms, and a dancewear shop. Their annual school show highlights their students' talents and achievements. All pupils perform before a full audience at the De Montfort Hall theatre.

“Etoile Performance Academy offers a wide range of classes. Miss Beckie is the principal of the school. The school provides exams with ISTD, IDTA, LCM, and LAMDA, and is certified in Acrobatic Arts Module 2 and Progressing Ballet Technique. Their students enjoy performance opportunities at venues like the West End and Disneyland Paris. Private tuition in all genres is also available. EPA Studios has a state-of-the-art facility. The studio features three spacious studios with professional dance flooring, including sprung floors, mirrors, ballet barres, and aerial hoop rigs in three studios. The facility also includes a bright reception and dining area, a dance shop, a kitchen, three toilets, two changing rooms, and a wardrobe department. How fortunate we are to be in the East Midlands where it’s possible to take advantage of, without doubt, one of the very best dance schools in the UK. Students are incredibly lucky to be taught the core foundations of dance, as well as take classes in a multitude of genres across the performing arts, by a passionate teaching team, all qualified experts in their field. Dupont offers valuable life skills supported in a nurturing, disciplined, inspirational environment, where friendships for life are made. The enjoyment Dupont students, of all ages, have for what they do, is palpable, and most importantly everyone is encouraged to have fun!!.

Would highly recommend Dupont! The teachers are incredibly passionate and will get the absolute best out of every child. Regular exams so they are always advancing, and an amazing annual show that all the children absolutely love! I would say if you are looking for a dance school, at least go along for a trial. We did that 6 years ago and have never looked back. As soon as you step into the place you can feel the energy and enthusiasm from all the students, and the exceptional standard of dancing from every pupil.

Great dance school with a high level of teaching, amazing dance classes, and very friendly staff and parents! My daughter is delighted with the school. I recommend it 100%!.

I would 100% recommend Etoile Performance Academy! My daughter started attending in February this year and has achieved so much already! Not only fantastic technique in a huge variety of genres of dance, but she’s also made wonderful friends and grown in confidence and performance skills! If you want your child to learn in a fun and friendly atmosphere with highly skilled and professional teachers then EPA is the best school around! My daughter has been made to feel so welcome, there’s no favourites, everyone is equal and super friendly. She’s already performed in a show and completed a number of exams with fantastic results. Her love for dance continues to grow and there’s always new opportunities for her to showcase her skills! Thank you to everyone at EPA.

My daughter has been at EPA for the last 2.5 years. We tried two other dance schools in Leicester but from day one we knew this was the place for her, the staff and children made her feel so welcome and really made her feel part of their dance family straight away. EPA offer such a wide variety of classes for all levels of performers and the teachers are all highly qualified (and lovely!). My daughter gets excited for her classes every week and is improving and gaining more confidence weekly. I highly recommend EPA to anyone looking for a dance/performing arts school in Leicester. My daughter first started at EPA when they had a class at Markfield on a Tuesday evening, due to numbers that closed and we were asked to transfer to their main studios, and well, the rest is history! The opportunities that the children have are great, my daughter now attends 2 evenings and a Saturday morning as she has been asked to take part in more. We’re also part of the elite team now which is fantastic! My daughter’s confidence has grown so much since attending too! The teachers are so welcoming and lovely, and they put their all in to the students! The children are also so friendly and loving too, a lovely little family at EPA! There’s also no pressure to take part in the shows or the exams too, which is great, no child is under pressure then! I would 100% recommend this dance school to anybody.

TheatreWorks is a professional lovely nurturing studio. The school have definitely brought the confidence out of my daughter who has been dancing at a previous dance school since the age of 2. I love the fact the teaching is of high quality but taught with a respectful and positive attitude! It is truly a supported environment to be in.. Thank you so much TheatreWorks! You've not only brought out the confidence but the passion for dance in my little dancer.

Such a lovely dance school. all the teachers are so nice and my twin girls have do so well since they've started, they started there dancing journey when they were 3 and they've progressed very well and been in a dance show with theatre works witch is lovely to see what they actually learn within there dancing lessons. Deffenitly recommend theatreworks.

Both my daughters dance at theatre works, they have the best time! Nat is loverly and great with the kids and all the children that attend are a blessing.
