“Sylk Dance Academy provides 40 classes for beginners and advanced street dancers, with exams through the United Dance Organisation. Their friendly, supportive, and uplifting dance school is open to dancers and gymnasts of any ability. The academy has been running since 2009, and they are proud to work with over 15 local schools both in curriculum time and through their after-school clubs. Their studio offers the dancers excellent facilities and a welcoming environment. Amazing dance school. Amy and all the teachers there are just amazing. We feel part of a wider family and they have brought my daughters confidence on massively. She now dances with a crew at comp level and has the time of her life making new friends and performing. Thank you so much Amy and all at Sylk.

Amy of Sylk Dance hosted monthly street dance sessions for our youth group of young people with Down’s Syndrome for a number of years. Her sessions were always well adapted yet still challenging, joyful, educational, and something that helped our young people enjoy learning, moving and making friends. I’d highly recommend Amy and her classes! .

My daughter loves Cheerleading here! Her confidence is sky high and so many friends made. She looks forward to it all week.

I can’t recommend Dance Addicts enough, my daughter started a year ago and has a room full of trophies from Competitions. Lauren and Allan are fantastic dance teachers going above and beyond to make sure the dancers are fully equipped with their routines. They go to the competitions every weekend to support the dancers! As well as being great teachers, they are great friends too. Always on hand to listen. At dance addicts we are one big happy family, parents supporting not only their child but the other dancers also!! If you’re looking to book a dance class, I can highly recommend Dance Addicts!.

I’ve been training at Dance addicts for over 3 years now and it’s been the most amazing time ever. The family environment is incredible and everyone is so welcoming. The teachers are insane and have pushed me in competitive dancing. The school also offers many other styles of dance and general lessons too! Definitely recommend if you are looking to start something new.

My daughter is two weeks in to being part of the Dance Addicts family and already feels part of the group and is loving the beginners class. She loves the older dancers helping them and can't wait for the next class .

Our Daughter has attended Rawle’s since she was 2 and she is now almost 5. She absolutely loves going and she is such a confident little person as a result. During her time at the school she has danced in two theatre shows (which have been wonderful to watch for the whole family) and she’s danced in a competition. The teachers are lovely and the older dancers help out the youngers so much! Such a wonderful place for her to spend her time. We can’t recommend enough!.

A very professional yet friendly dance school with high standards of teaching across a full range of disciplines. My daughter is 12 and has been attending since she was 3 and as a former pupil myself I can’t recommend it highly enough. The school put on excellent shows and there are opportunities to enter exams and competitions.

This school is incredibly supportive, friendly and caring. I attended this school for many years and I never failed to leave a class without a smile on my face. The dedication shown by the dance teachers is amazing and the relationship they build with their students enables you to be pushed and to extend your skills. I would highly recommend this dance school!.
