I feel so incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Faye and her dog Barbie on my dog Hector's reactivity. Hector came to me as a 5 year old dog-aggressive rescue bully X lurcher with a bite history, and after 3 years together I didn't think he would ever be able to exist peacefully in the presence of another dog. In one controlled exposure session with Faye and Barbie our whole world changed. Hector walked comfortably, often with no signs of stress, within a 2m distance of Barbie for nearly 2 hours. Usually a dog 10m away is enough to send him fearfully barking and lunging in wild circles, Thanks to Faye's ongoing advice and support he continues to make amazing strides week on week. We've made more progress in the 2 months since we walked with Faye than we had in the 3 years leading up to it. It's incredible what access to a holistic, ethical professional and a well trained stooge dog can do for a frightened and often misunderstood dog like mine. I recommend Calm The Pup Down to anyone and everyone who wants to live a more harmonious life with a troubled dog.

Faye is an excellent and empathetic dog trainer who clearly has passion for not only dogs, but also her craft. I have worked with Faye on a few occasions as I settled a rescue dog in to my home with my existing dog; and then again when I was settling a puppy in to my home. She is extremely knowledgeable and creates a clear and easy to follow training plan. I often struggle with remembering homework tasks, but Faye made it easy by breaking it up in to small exercises for me to progress at mine and my dogs pace. Her social media is also well worth a follow because of enigmatic Barbie!

Having a reactive dog, things have always been difficult and I’d been worried about introducing her to other dogs. With Faye’s careful help and guidance I have managed to move in with my partner and her dog and the two dogs are now bonding closely. I never thought this was possible and it’s made a hugely positive impact to all of our lives. Faye is very knowledge and patient and knows her s***. Cannot recommend enough!
